Welcome to the next installment of Pokémon Vortex's special events! For this event, you will need all your strength and patience to battle through as many trainer battles as you can. This means clan battles or regular computer controlled battles against another player. Each battle you complete and win will have the chance to drop a special event item; the Fist Plate which will allow you to change the form of your Normal type Arceus to Fighting type Arceus in the event center. There isn't a minute to waste, this event won't be around forever! Get battling, trainers! Event Pokémon Obtainable:

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the next installment of Pokémon Vortex's special events. This event is very simple in comparison to some previous events, the only requirement to take part is the following: You must be on the Unova sidequest region You must have completed the requirements to find legendary Pokémon on the maps If you have completed these two steps then the following map spawns will be altered in forms: Tornadus on the grass maps (Maps 1 - 9) will appear as Tornadus (Therian) Landorus on the cave maps (Maps 10 - 15) will appear as Landorus (Therian) Thundurus on the electric maps (Maps 16 & 17) will appear as Thundurus (Therian) (All three spawn changes are applied to day and night, even where the Pokémon was not usually found in that time of day) Patience is key here. Remember, legendary Pokémon are called legendary for a reason - They're not easy to come by. Good luck trainers and happy hunting!

Well i was kinda thinking if there is any possibility of adding a mining mini-game in the game, where we can mine for certain stones (common/uncommon/rare) and sometimes some rare items, also with the increase in level of mining the higher the rate will be for getting the rare stuffs from mining. Also an implementation of a mining shop where we can trade those stones for cetarin pokes, avatar or pds. (sorry for bad english)

This event is very simple in comparison to some previous events, the only requirement to take part is the following: You must be on the Unova sidequest region You must have completed the requirements to find legendary Pokémon on the maps If you have completed these two steps then head on over to the water maps (Maps 3, 6, & 9) during day or night where you will notice that the original Keldeo form has stopped spawning and Keldeo (Resolute) has began making its appearance. Patience is key here. Remember, legendary Pokémon are called legendary for a reason - They're not easy to come by. Good luck trainers and happy hunting!

There are certain users who just spam things at ridiculous prices which block up Pokebay. It would make buying much more enjoyable if you could filter out users that you don't want to buy from. Another option I wouldn't mind seeing is the option to put in a max/min price filter to be able to narrow down on what you're after a little bit easier!

Starting November 1st 2018, the Pokémon contents of Mystery Boxes will be changed monthly to resolve two issues within Pokémon Vortex's trade and auction economy. The first issue being that some old event Pokémon are impossible to obtain due to very low numbers of them existing. The second issue is that the current Mystery Box Pokémon drop of Rotom forms are too high and rapidly lose value as more boxes are obtained and opened. SO, the change, effective immediately will be that old event Pokémon (but not seasonal event Pokémon such as Halloween or Christmas) will be rotated through Mystery Boxes monthly starting off with November's Mystery Box Pokémon - Volcanion This Pokémon will be rotated out of Mystery Boxes on December 1st 2018 and so on, on monthly intervals. Here is a list of the following changes through to the end of September 2019: November 1st 2018 - November 30th 2018 December 1st 2018 - December 31st 2018 January 1st 2019 - January 31st 2019 February 1st 2019 - February 28th 2019 March 1st 2019 - March 31st 2019 April 1st 2019 - April 30th 2019 May 1st 2019 - May 31st 2019 June 1st 2019 - June 30th 2019 July 1st 2019 - July 31st 2019 August 1st 2019 - August 31st 2019 September 1st 2019 - September 30th 2019 Hopefully these continued changes monthly will make these Pokémon more widely available over time.

An indicator in pokebay which displays whether we possess an avatar or not. Something like the pokeball symbol next to pokemon we've already caught on maps

Personally I think Patrick should use my ideas more often. Maybe he's just scared of talented ideas?

Call me old, but was present since Pokemon Battle Arena and still playing until now. I remember I started playing since 5th grade and I'm now a college graduate and currently a McDonald's employee and still into the game. Idk why but I really enjoy the game a lot. Then v1 of the game to v1.8 to v2 of the game. And moved to v3 and until the biggest changelog when v4 came, I became more in love with it. Cheers to more years in-game! @Patrick To the other admins/moderators I remember, Rob, Chris and Dean. Congrats, as well!

I'll explain in more detail. Blocking users specifically would mean that none of the items they sell come up on Pokebay for you. Ordering by lowest price does, in theory, enable you to avoid this, but Pokebay is much more useful in time order, not price order. I don't necessarily want to look at everything which is selling for £25,000; I still want to see what's being sold for the tens of millions, I just want to be able to see only those which are being offered at a reasonable price. The problem is arising as there are a number of users - some of whom I think are alts of each other - who are listing things like avatars for hundreds of thousands, regular legendaries for similar prices, and not actually selling 99% of them. This means that for significant periods of time, that's all you can see on Pokebay. Being able to block those users can let you see offers that you deem reasonable, making Pokebay a more useful function. If I had to say how I'd do it, I'd potentially have it next to the regular block button on their profile, or have a little cross next to their name on Pokebay. Then have a tab either on the members tab or on the pokebay part which shows your blocked users. Being able to filter by certain prices means that you can choose what sort of items you want to target. Putting in a minimum of 1,000,000 because you want to have a look at events, for example. Or a maximum of 3,000,000 because that's all the money you have so don't want to see things which you can't afford. Creates a for efficient buying and selling environment. On a separate point, if there are users who you see offering great trades or whatever other reason. It could be potentially useful to be able to make them a 'favourite trader', which highlights there trades when they come up. I'm on a roll here so I'll offer one more having a notification which informs you when a watched auction is, say, 5 minutes or 30 seconds away from ending could be really useful too, otherwise the watch section is actually a little useless currently, outside of keeping track of something selling a few days away from when you originally saw it. Sorry for the essay haha! Hope this is useful.

Now that Detective Pikachu is being released with Ryan Reynolds voicing Pikachu and Ryan also being the actor of Deadpool can we cross both of these roles and finally have a Pikapool event with PikaPool looking just like the figures available online. Please consider this as I feel the event would be great.

Guide for Perfect Exp. Before you guys say that there are already posts like this, please read this: I am aware that there is already a similar topic in the Vortex Wiki, but it did not explain how to even out pokemon with exp not ending with 0 or 5. The following charts only apply for level 100 Pokemon. Hope this helps! Training Accounts (full teams of 6) Number of Your Pokemon in Battle Exp Gained 1 3,000 2 1,500 3 1,000 4 750 5 600 6 500 Gym Leaders Kanto Gym Leader Number of Your Pokemon in Battle Exp Gained Brock 1 140 2 70 Misty 1 325 2 163 3 108 Lt. Surge 1 600 2 300 3 200 4 150 Odd Exp. If your pokemon has an odd last digit of its exp (with an exception of 5), here is one way to make it 0 or 5: -Use 5 of your own pokemon to battle a gym with 5 pokemon. The easiest gyms with 5 pokemon are the Saffron City Gym or Fuchsia City Gym. They will give you 259 exp. -Battle Misty with 2 or 3 pokemon. This is the easiest way to even out odd exp. (see the chart for the exact exp gained) Please PM me if you notice an inaccurate datum

I decided to hunt for 3 more minutes to find a Landorus (Therian). Instead I find a Registeel, a Kartana and a Shadow Roggenrola. So that's one Pokémon I didn't have yet, a Legendary and an Ultra Beast. No Landorus though.

Had it before, not happening again. Mee6 is a terrible way to “encourage talking” all it does is encourage spamming and the bot itself spams too.

Welcome to the Pokemon Vortex Training Accounts Forums Thread! Let me just make it clear, these are not ACTUAL training accounts as there were in V2, that's not possible anymore. However, these accounts might just help to level up some Pokemon, or grind some EXP on already-Level-100s. What is a Training Account? A Training Account is an account which has been created with a team of (usually) 6 Level 100 Pokemon with weak movesets. They are used to train and level up Pokemon that are super-effective against the type of Pokemon in the team of that training account. So I've listed the accounts by their Type in Alphabetical Order. This will make it easy for you to find an account according to the Pokemon you wish to train. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pokemon Type → Training Account → TrainingGenesect → TrainingDarkrai → TrainingRayquaza → TrainFire // TrainingKyurem → TrainFlying // TrainingYveltal // FlyingSoda → Ghost_Unit // → TrainingKyurem // ThunderStick → TR_DragonSlayer // TrainingXerneas → TrainingKeldeo//VitolFight → TrainingShaymin → TMacGround // TrainingGroudon → TrainingKyurem → Normal_Unit // Murr → PoisonSoda // Tetrodotoxin → PsychicSoda // TrainingMewtwo → TrainingKyurem → AvSteel // TrainingDialga → iaraLuvdisc // WaterMe // TrainingKyogre ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And I've also added in a type chart, just for extra convenience and information. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, that's about it. Didn't take much time to make this at all, just a quick short post since a lot of people on chat come to ask about these everyday. Still missing a couple of training accounts as you can see above, if anyone knows any please do recommend them, and I'll add them. Also, I'm open to suggestions, so if anyone has any about what I should add/remove, feel free to hit me up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: http://teamdxgeneration.weebly.com/training.html Thank you SmartAss for helping with updates!
