Editions are based on availability of a Pokémon. Right now they only really apply to event and premium Pokémon. For example, Rotom (Halloween) was released in 2015 for the first time so those obtained then are Edition 1. It then had a second release in 2017 and those obtained this year are Edition 2. No they’re not rarer. They’re not even close to being rarer, you’re just having bad luck finding them. And while Pokémon Vortex may be a revival of Pokémon Crater, that does not mean every little detail needs to be exactly the same. It was exactly the same for v1 all the way through to v2. From v3 onwards I have expanded the game to give it more features and make trading have an economy worth taking part in. Part of this change needed to see certain Pokémon have a much higher rarity. If you played Pokémon Crater then you would know that nothing had any value and trading was pointless. Legendary Pokémon would appear at a very common rate and you could only own one of each on your account. While you yourself may think this is fun to be able to complete the pokedex in a single day and have the whole thing worth nothing, most people do not.

This isn't possible due to the way email to account linking works. There is no authorisation process to putting an email onto an account and the game allows the same email to be used on multiple accounts. Because of this, it would not be wise to allow something like emailing a user the list of all game accounts linked to a specific email.

The primary factor to being on the seasonal leaderboard would be unique Pokémon. The more Pokémon you catch and evolve, the more you will climb ranks and have the possibility to be on the leaderboard.

It's not currently possible to change the email address linked to your account.

Mimikyu is in the "rare" spawn pool along with the starter Pokémon, some evolved Pokémon and various random Pokémon such as Porygon, Lapras and Jangmo-o. The "rare" spawn pool is rarer than regular Pokémon but slightly more common than legendary Pokémon. (The Pokémon with this rarity can be obtained with or without all gym badges)

They have a 100% capture rate on Ultra Beasts so taking down health is not necessary. In response to your request - Bidding for Beast Balls is not essential, how do you think those players got them to sell them? You can earn Beast Balls from doing Sidequests, there is a chance for them to be the reward at the end of the Alola region which is the last Sidequest region. Obtaining Beast Balls will not be made "easier", the point is for these Pokemon to have a high value through trade or auction to reflect on the effort gone into obtaining them. However, this does not rule out the possibility of more ways to obtain them in the future (but they will most likely be just as time consuming)

It was never in the Pokémart, it's a new item to v4 that evolves and You can get one from the end of Sidequests in the Alolan region or you can buy one on Pokébay if someone who already won one is selling it.

They're meant to. Your unsold auctions are more of a log to tell you what didn't sell even if you keep relisting it and it eventually sells. It just needs a bit of a design change such as the relist button being removed when you've already relisted it.

Your prize was already claimed on another account using the same internet connection. The message explains this that you should avoid using public internet connections and mobile networks so that you do not share an IP address with another user. If you have a family member that plays in your household then that will also cause this. It is not a bug and was intentionally designed this way so people cannot claim multiple daily login rewards on multiple accounts.

Pokémon that evolve to an Alolan form from their regular form (E.g. Cubone -> Marowak (Alolan)) need to be evolved while you are on or completed the Alolan Sidequest region. Pokémon that are caught in an Alolan form and evolve to Alolan forms (E.g. Diglett (Alolan) -> Dugtrio (Alolan)) need to be caught while you are on or completed the Alolan Sidequest region but can be evolved at any time. Note: When you reset your sidequest progress, you will no longer be able to evolve a regular form Pokémon to an Alolan form and you will no longer encounter Alolan forms on the maps until you make your way back to/past the Alolan Sidequest region again.

Arceus (Unknown) hasn't actually had an official event yet. The ones that are in circulation of the game were given out by me to people who helped with various small jobs in the production of v4 such as spriting or data entry. There will be an Arceus (Unknown) event one day. When? I don't know. These will not always be the only available ones - The point was that they get to have them before anyone else for their help.
