  1. If you're looking at a Pokémon you or someone else owns, the ball shown there is the ball that Pokémon was obtained in. If it's a generic Pokédex entry (such as when you click an evolution link while looking at an owned Pokémon), it will show a standard PokéBall and has no significance other than to mirror owned Pokémon's Pokédex entries.
  2. Three are. Darkrown was new for Vortex so we had a signature Pokémon of our own.
  3. No. You need to take accountability as well. Do not trade outside of the given trade systems and you cannot be scammed.
  4. It's not a "bug or glitch", as you well know. You're an alternate account of the scammer PokeLegend7 and judging by recent scam report posts, you're still at it under the name ManeNS. You're not welcome in any community aspect of the game, that includes Discord and here on the forums. You lost any right to be part of the community when you started scamming other players.
  5. People can sell things for whatever price they like, no one has to bid on it if they don't want it or do not like the price. Also it's not really textbook definition of scamming, scamming involves deceit, that's just someone trying to sell things for more than they're worth which never works, no one will buy them.
  6. As already explained by billabob in this thread, there are certain locations where we do not accept payments from due to high levels of fraud. Unfortunately, India is one of those locations so purchasing from the store directly is not an option for players located there. We do not offer another payment method to these locations, sorry.
  7. That is the ‘front’ of it. Blastoise (Gigantamax) faces its shell towards the opponent(s) during battle.
  8. There’s 3 attack categories; Special, Physical and Status. At the moment they mean nothing in Vortex but it was taken from the original Pokémon games, every attack has a category it belongs to. The only thing worth noting that does apply to that in Vortex currently is that status attacks will not deal initial damage, they are to inflict status effects on the opponent such as Paralysis, Sleep, Poison etc.
  9. There probably will be a new addition when Gen 9 is added to the game. Which Pokémon that is, however, is yet to be determined. Zarude is an interesting suggestion, we don't currently have an event idea for that Pokémon.
  10. You are welcome to do that in private but you cannot post anywhere about it publicly. That includes, but is not limited to, here on the forums, our Discord server or your in-game bio. It is considered a “trust trade” which requires both traders to trust the other player will hand over what it is they wanted in an after-the-fact manner which usually opens the door to scamming. You cannot advertise trust trades anywhere on Vortex.
  11. You can't use Rusted Swords/Shields any more, the events for those are over. Also this doesn't meet the requirements of a trade thread, please read the rules.
  12. If something is password protected and no one has given you the password, it’ll be because it’s not for you to access.
  13. No, Pokémon do not disappear due to a limitation of how much you can own. You traded/sold them, released them or someone has access to your account and has taken them.
  14. I've lost count how many times you've had this same topic locked now. Read the rules or next time you'll just be banned from the forums.
  15. No, they need to be evolved before April 7th 23:59 BST
  16. Yes. Or you can buy it from someone else through PokéBay.
  17. It is allowed but frowned upon. You do these kinds of deals at your own risk as you’re not guaranteed to get what you wanted in the deal and may lose your Pokémon and/or money in a scam. If this happens, it’s unlikely we’ll intervene.
  18. Rusted Swords and Shields are no longer sellable as of March 31st at 23:59 BST. This was done because the event ends in 7 days which will render those items unusable. If you listed one in an auction today, for 7 days, people would be buying something they’ll never get to use because the event would have ended before they won the auction.
  19. I have removed your bid from the auction and returned it to you. These kind of trades are not supported by the game, they are what we call "Trust Trades" because they require a level of trust between both parties as there is a risk of one side not getting what they wanted. This is the only time we will intervene if this happens to you so please be more careful in the future.
