Are you talking about network lag or framerate (graphical/input) lag? Is it possible that you disabled hardware acceleration in your browser? You may want to test playing in a different browser to see if the problem exists there too. If you're using Chrome, I suggest trying FireFox (or vice versa). Let me know if this helps.

Just to add my 2 pence... One of the reasons why we replaced the old maps was to combat cheaters/botters. The new system is a lot more resistant to bots. I would not like to go back to the days where I had to ban dozens of accounts each day for auto-hunting. Secondly, running two different map systems side-by-side fractures the playerbase into two groups. Ideally we'd like to see more player interaction, not less. Finally, the new system is just more practical for us. It's easier to make changes to the maps & spawns thanks to the modern tools we're using, it requires fewer server resources to run (- so it's less expensive to run), and going forward, we would like to be able to make more additions to the maps outside of just searching+catching (which would be impossible to implement in the legacy maps at the same time). So, if you are just interested in reviving the old mechanical aspects of how the legacy maps worked - sorry, but I don't think this will ever happen. However, if you're more interested in revisiting the old maps under the new system (as we did during the initial beta test in April 2020) - it's a possibility. Time will tell.

Yes that idea was scrapped. We decided to make all players be able to run by default, with the option to "walk" if you wanted to. If you are using a keyboard to move around, you can hold shift while moving if you'd like to walk instead of run. If you are using mouse or gamepad to move around, you can hold the analogue stick to adjust your walk/run speed to whatever degree you like. We might add some other (faster) travel options eventually, but I think the current walk/run speeds are appropriate for now.

I have investigated this case and I can see that he did indeed log into your account and transfer pokemon to his account - but this is presumably because your password was the same as your username. It is your responsibility to keep your account safe, and this whole incident could have easily been avoided by simply using a proper password. Either way - his account is now banned. As I side note - I saw from your message history all of the racist abuse that you sent to him after the pokemon were traded from your account. This is a warning to you that this behaviour is not acceptable and if you do this again you will be banned yourself.

In my experience, the explore tab only uses 100MB of RAM + 50MB GPU memory in Chrome. This seems quite reasonable to me considering this forum tab takes up 60MB of RAM. Please show where you are seeing this 1.7 GB of RAM usage? This is 10x greater than I would expect. Perhaps you have a browser extension which is causing the problem?

Hi, can you please follow these steps: In Chrome, go to Menu > Settings > Advanced > System. Check that the option "Use hardware acceleration when available" is enabled. If this is not already enabled, please enable it and then relaunch Chrome as instructed. Let me know if this helps.

I believe the cause of this issue was fixed some time ago. Unfortunately we do not have any way to know how many battles this pokemon has completed - so we cannot calculate the happiness level it should have. This pokemon will remain as-is until the trainer decides to train it further.

I am unable to reproduce this issue. I assume you may be mistaken with your ball selection. If this occurs again, please start a new topic and provide more information.

This can occur if you have not completed your previous battle yet. The game gets confused if you try to battle 2 pokemon at the same time. Please complete your previous battle before starting a new one.

Please can you provide an example of a pokemon you have caught which does not show the caught indicator? A screenshot may help.

Your calendar only counts logins. If you did not login on that day, it will not be counted. For example... If you log in on Monday and continue playing through to Wednesday without logging out - you won't get a login mark for Tuesday because you did not log in on that day. I hope that makes sense.
