  1. I like your ideas. The fact you're formally presenting them likely helps the developers take in your ideas with a positive mind. Out of your ideas, I especially would like to have a general idea as to when we can expect Gen 9 to be added.
  2. You are able to find all encounters per area on the Vortex wiki. Every area has its own page, and will also list which Pokémon appear with which rarities. This is an example of a Vortex wiki page for one of the areas with Pokémon: https://wiki.pokemon-vortex.com/wiki/Vortex_Citadel In this example, replace 'Vortex Citadel' in the URL with any other area, such as 'Unown Cave' or 'Route 21', and you'll find what's on those areas. You can also look for a Pokémon instead by typing its name, so 'Pidgey' instead of where it says 'Vortex Citadel'. That will give you various info on Pidgey, including where to catch it. You can then click on those areas on Pidgey's page to immediately be taken to the area(s) in which it appears.
  3. If you have a bug to report, you can do so here. This is the Bugs & Errors part of the Forum. The idea is that you explain the bug here, in as much detail as you can. Then the developers may be able to help you.
  4. The items will still exist past the event date. It is likely that they cannot be used past the event date. If you bid on such an item, it's best to see when the auction ends, to make sure no money is wasted. If this is an auction started by Vortex itself, and not a standard user, then I do find it to be strange that auctions like this are a thing. I should clarify, the event announcement does not state whether or not the Douse Drives can be used after the event ends. Maybe that's just when the auctions won't be starting anymore. I don't know this for certain.
  5. The following formula is used to work out the amount of points a player has in the current season. (√t * √u * √a * ln(b)) / 1000 t = Total Experience u = Unique Pokémon a = Average Experience b = Battle Count Season Battle Tower: The amount of opponents defeated, and the experience received from winning the battle, will contribute towards the player's seasonal points. Note: Defeating wild Pokémon, gyms, other users, etc. will not count towards the player's seasonal battle count. Only opponents defeated through the battle tower will be considered. Perhaps a difference in points happened because you won one fight by using one Pokémon, while winning another by using more of them. There's also the chance that the points are rounded off, and that after a certain fights something is rounded up instead of down.
  6. Yes, but that still requires you to search for all Pokémon individually AND open the wiki before that. This idea adds quite a lot of convenience, and saves time.
  7. I would really like this idea. Being a completionist and collector myself, this would give me a good insight into what's still to get. Maybe if it's only Legendaries or UBs, I want to go hunt somewhere else because of their rarity. Here's an additional idea: The Pokémon on each Route initially appear only as question marks in this new Pokédex section. The amount of question marks still equal the amount of Pokémon in the area. Once you've encountered one (no matter the variant), that Pokémon is listed instead of their question mark for all variants. So let's say I encounter a wild Mystic Ponyta for the first time, then all 6 variants of Ponyta would now show, as seeing one Ponyta confirms the existence of the other ones. This could also serve as a help for people who want to catch UBs, or specific Legendaries. Almost all areas have Legendaries, but maybe you don't remember which of the two Ice Routes the one you want is on. If you're already in the area, a quick glance at this new section would show that what you're looking for is or is not here. If not, you move to the other one. For Ultra Beasts, even if you haven't encountered any at all, there being a ? in the UB Rarity in this new section means you can encounter one here. That's my ideas, and what I just came up with while thinking about the possibilities. What do you think of it?
  8. If I understand the Trade Forum Rules correctly, you must list at least 6 of your own Pokémon for a Trade Topic to be allowed. This makes me believe that this topic, in its current form, is likely to be closed soon. You must have at least six Pokémon listed/posted for trade (Do not post "check my IGN" or "Msg me")
  9. Master Balls catch every wild Pokémon without fail, except for Ultra Beasts. Ultra Beasts can only be caught with Beast Balls (which catch Ultra Beasts at 100% chance), and Vortex Balls (which catch any Pokémon at 100% chance). If the Master Balls failed, you'll have been fighting an Ultra Beast.
  10. There are two main ways that I say are the best. The first is immunity training with level 6 Pokémon. This gives you money the quickest, but requires a lot of Level 6 immunity Pokémon, and can get really tedious. The other way is Sidequests. It takes longer to get big money, but once you clear a region you get over a million PokéDollars.
  11. My clan is back into the Top 100 of Clans! Let's go!
    We're 95th now!

  12. When you say it was taken from you, do you mean it was hacked, or were you banned? If you were banned, you cannot return to that account.
  13. There's a list of exact numbers on the wiki. I ran a calculation in my had to see which numbers combined to make the number needed.
  14. I have an answer. This answer assumes you're referring to a Pokémon of Level 100. Otherwise this is harder to calculate. Fight Gym Leader Erika, and win using 4 of your Level 100 Pokémon (including the one you want this specific EXP on) against her team. You can do this by using a different Pokémon everytime she uses a different one. This should give 176 EXP per Pokémon. This leaves 95 EXP still to obtain. This can be achieved by fighting wild Pokémon, beating them with just the Pokémon you want to train. Level 6, and then level 13 should do the trick. So should 7 and 12, 8 and 11, 9 and 10. Any of these combinations should give you 95 EXP. In total you should have obtained 271 EXP exactly on your Pokémon.
  15. They were a feature in the past, based on the Wonder Trade feature that's been in the main Pokémon games since Pokémon X and Y. It matches two people together who both are using Wonder Trade, and you trade with each other. You select the Pokémon you're trading ahead of time. So you may get something good, or you may get something bad. This feature was not used much, and it was almost always used to trade very common Pokémon. It was decided to take down the feature and rework it into something more people would want to use. Until we get to that point, Wonder Trade has been disabled.
  16. The fact I don't care about EXP on my account, and instead am focusing on my Pokédex, is really helping me right now.
I've found two people who are willing to trade their variety Legendaries for some of my Level 100 Pokémon.
They're happy with their EXP, and therefore higher points in the Total Ranking. I'm happy because I can add multiple hard to obtain Pokémon for my Pokédex.
If any of you can help me in a similar way, and have Pokémon that I don't have yet in my Pokédex, please let me know. We can set up trades, and help each other out.

      I also have:

      1. dark Tapu Fini
      2. dark Mimikyu (with custom/purchased moveset)
      3. super happy mystic Eevee --> with 3 hearts of happiness
      4. shiny Eiscue

I would like if possible a shiny or dark or mystic Cosmog/Cosmoem  for multiple of you missing pokemon!

  17. As with most rare ones, you likely have a low chance of obtaining it when catching a Blacephalon.
  18. That counts as one battle. I made a tutorial video a while ago covering all details about the Happiness stat in Pokémon Vortex.
  19. There is no known release date for Version 6. We don't even know what would be in Version 6. Patrick will make an announcement when he believes it's right to do so. Major changes will likely have to happen to consider it version 6, as opposed to just an update to version 5.
  20. Ig you go to imgur.com, you can upload your image file. The website will then give you a URL that you can share here.
  21. Let's hunt for Unown!
Vortex is back on the channel!

  22. There's already a BB-8 Voltorb, so I think adding an R2-D2 one is unlikely.
  23. You must be in Alola in the Sidequests. Once you're there, using the Leaf Stone will do the trick.
  24. The only way to do that is to ask that user to trade them back, and hope they accept.
