can someone please explain to me why im not finding basic common pokemon like gen 1 starters and so on

hey i was wondering if you could help me as no one replied to my discussion post i am really struggling to find basic gen 1 starters and other common pokemon is there a reason for this ? i have yet to run into any starters or common gen 1/2/3 pokemon

hello ive been trying to evolve one of my team members so I go on to your team where the 6 slots are provided, however instead of going into the six slots my team just drags across the screen and I can only see and edit 3 of the team members ive tried many things to fix this and it just wont work please help.
