PM Patrick via Discord. He should be able to help you there.
  2. eurstin's post in Trade was marked as the answer
Don't make a new question for this. Refer to the trade advice thread for things like this.
Also, you posted this question twice.

  4. eurstin's post in HELP ASAP PLEASE: I want to release a Pokémon, but I don't know how to take it out of my team? was marked as the answer
Your account>your pokemon team>change team>view all your pokemon>select pokemon to switch on left>select pokemon you want to remove from your team on the right>switch

You'll need to catch more than 6 total pokemon in order to switch a pokemon off your team fyi
  5. eurstin's post in Account was marked as the answer
Donor is a retired rank. It was a V3 exclusive rank for paying $10 for a Donation Pokemon. If you want a rank that indicates you support the game, you could go to the store and purchase a premium membership for your account.
Again, Donor is retired. If you just buy a Metallic Giratina (Origin), you won't get any special rank.

"Varying from past updates to some of the best threads these forums had to offer in a past time. If you believe your thread should be archived, please private message one of our staff. In order for us to archive your thread, it must have made an impact on the community and needs to be of old age." (copy/pasted from the archives description lmao)

All sorts of things go there, especially guides and ideas that might make their way into the game. The one thing they all have in common is their age.
If you specifically want to see guides, this should come in handy. Otherwise, the archives category includes everything.

  7. eurstin's post in Updates from 2014 was marked as the answer
    1. Masterballs were removed from the Pokemart, as you probably know. The only places you can get them from are sidequests and auctions. (and maybe daily claims)
    2. Not all legendary pokemon are obtainable on maps. An example is Xerneas (Neutral), which can only be obtained through sidequests or auctions. And yes, any map pokemon over level 50 is a legendary or of higher rarity.
    3. The forums calendar has event updates, and the Vortex Discord has updates.
    4. Yup, training accounts are the best way. If you're gonna have someone train for you, make sure they can be trusted, as you won't be refunded if they cheated.
    5. The higher the opponent's pokemon level is, the more exp you'll get.
  8. eurstin's post in Crystal onix was marked as the answer
Nope, the only place you'll see it is on sidequests

Read the event page again. You probably didn't see this at the top.
  12. eurstin's post in Upcoming AZ event and multiple accounts was marked as the answer
Like Auke said, there's a reason why you can't claim events and daily awards on the same IP. If making multiple accounts to claim and in this case, battle, were allowed, there would be no IP limit. If you wanna stay on the safe side, I wouldn't use multiple accounts.
  13. eurstin's post in catching pokemon was marked as the answer
If you're asking if there's any quicker way of catching normal pokemon (implying you don't have the patience to go on a map for a few seconds), I don't think the game is for you. Just put a decently trained pokemon on your team(preferably level 50+), go on a map,  and catch a pokemon. Not trying to be rude, just not sure how else to answer that. Now if you're talking about catching legendary pokemon quickly , like XeuzAK said, you can win them from auctions for relatively low prices.
  14. eurstin's post in Level 5 Pokemon.. was marked as the answer
In V4, the lowest level you can encounter is level 6. In V3 and all previous versions, it was level 5. It's not a bug, but you can't catch any new level 5 pokemon.

Personally, I think it's kinda cool to have level 5 pokemon, so I've left some of mine untrained.

On another note, something about these accounts that commented seem a bit sus
  17. eurstin's post in How to Remove Pokemon from my team. was marked as the answer
You can't remove a pokemon from your team, you can only swap it out with another pokemon not in your team.
  18. eurstin's post in No Happiness? was marked as the answer
Adding on to that, battle map pokemon, because killing one pokemon still counts as winning a battle. That should speed up things. It will take a while before you get all the required hearts, so just be patient.
  19. eurstin's post in PokeBay Auction Rip Off? was marked as the answer
I'm assuming you got an Absol from auction. It should've automatically went to your team cause you only have four (five including the Absol). You could try catching two more pokemon from the maps. Once your team is full, then try switching the Absol on your team.
  20. eurstin's post in How to earn more Community reputation? was marked as the answer
You aren't given automatic rep whenever you answer a question. People give rep if they find a post or thread helpful or entertaining. Not sure if you knew this, but when you upvote an answer of your question, that doesn't translate to rep.
Also, you already asked this question.

In the future, don't answer a question if you aren't sure of your answer. It just creates more confusion. I may have stalked your profile, and a good amount of responses contain some form of "I am not sure so please correct me if I am wrong". Another thing I noticed is that you tend to repeat previous answers to questions. If you see a correct answer to a question, you don't need to reply.
So again, make sure your posts are helpful and not redundant and try to do more than just answer questions.

And yes, the users who received the most rep in the current week are placed on the weekly popular contributor leaderboard. Hope all of this helps.

    Don't ping people lmao
Editions refer to the amount of times an event pokemon was avaliable, and which event you got the pokemon. For example, if you claimed a Caterpie (Christmas) during the Christmas spin2win event, it would be Edition 2, as that was the second time the pokemon was avaliable to be claimed.
  22. eurstin's post in Money In Battle. was marked as the answer
I forgot the max cash you could get from a battle, but you can get 60k exp from using a level 5 on a training account. SInce level 5 pokemon are no longer obtainable in v4, the most you can now get is 50k exp from a level 6.

Theoretically, the greatest amount would be 120k if you used a level 5 on a double exp day.
  23. eurstin's post in High Experience Pokemon was marked as the answer
They use training accounts to get the maximum exp from a battle, but yeah, it's a lot of grinding. You can also have other people train them for you, which would make the task a bit easier (although it's risky to have someone train a pokemon with high exp already on it).

Press the pokeball icon (located next to the Bulbasaur icon that you clicked to get ) and then enter the name of the desired pokemon. It's case sensitive, so make sure you're spelling correctly.
