There are a few ways for you to mark someones thread for you to visit and monitor in the future.
1. Would be by leaving a comment on the thread.
2. The most efficient would be to click on "Follow"
For you to easily get notified and updated if there are any new topics or posts on that persons thread.

It depends because if you recently posted a thread or reply in the Pokemon Vortex Central ie: Rules, Provide Ideas and Feedback, Report Bugs and Errors and Player Reports.
You would see the message "Your content needs to be approved by a moderator" before your post or thread shows up in these sections.
But if its not in one of these then it may possibly have been deleted.

If you don't want the easiest way would be through the Pokebay Auctions

Hi loosing a battle in the seasonal battle tower won't really cost you to loose your currently earned points on the Seasonal Leader board.
But then again if you don't defeat the current trainer the you wont be able to progress to different opponents to earn more points that can help your rank on the Seasonal Leader board
