when evolving into dusk mane necrozma, yes you will lose the solgaleo, and the duskmane inherits the name from the necrozma.

yes, you can keep on doing the battle as many times as your willing to find it (during the event).

well the reason is rng. some people are luckier than others, as well as ub have different odds, and are much rarer, but in my own experience i have gotten luckier with ubs than with legendries. i don't know what the odds are but they are pretty low thought, and even lower for ubs.
