One of the current requirements the game has for a username states there must be at least 3 characters, so just "J" would not work. However, certain special characters (hyphen, period or underscore symbol) can be included in a username as well. Also, you can create multiple accounts that share the same email address.
  2. Patrick addressed this topic in an old thread and provided a detailed explanation which you can find here: https://forums.pokemon-vortex.com/topic/26874-what-are-the-requirements-for-each-forum-rank/ But to briefly summarize, anytime you actively use the forums- whether it's to create or engage in meaningful discussion about the game, you are awarded points through those interactions with you and other members. With time as you continue to do so, your ranking will gradually change.
  3. Yes. Beast Balls have a 100% capture rate solely for Ultra Beasts. Additionally, Vortex Balls also have a 100% capture rate and can catch any Pokémon, including Ultra Beasts.
  4. The catch was registered. As you already have a full team of 6, it was moved to "Box Pokémon". To add the Pokémon to your team go to "Your Account"-"Your Pokémon Team"-"Change Team". From there you can easily look for any particular Pokémon you've caught using the search bar and swap it from the box to a slot on your current team.
  5. 1) The day/night cycle in-game is 2 hours- 1 hour for day and 1 hour for night 2) Day time runs from 06:00 to 17:59 (6am-5:59pm) and night time runs from 18:00 to 05:59 (6pm-5:59am)
  6. The number of battles is not an accurate measure as to how much total exp a player is expected to have. Factors such as purchasing Pokémon with high exp from an auction, or another account training the Pokémon and giving it back will affect the total as well.
  7. It means that the person who originally caught the Pokémon has been banned.
  8. You will have a chance at obtaining rewards once you have completed a region (for more information you can check out the PV wiki page- https://wiki.pokemon-vortex.com/wiki/Sidequests 30-45 battles is not even halfway to completing the first section yet- that's still in the Kanto region. If you're finding that battles are difficult to go through, then it would be best to have a team that covers all your bases to account for the the different types of Pokémon you'll encounter. Moreover, the Thunder Stone is something you would have to purchase at the PokéMart for 3000 PD, it's not a drop from sidequests. As for the blue orb, it is considered a rare drop; and you would have to complete the Hoenn region for a chance of it dropping (because of the rarity, it may now even drop the first time). Battles can take a lot of time, but it serves a purpose being that way. If it was so easy to get items like a blue orb then it would have pretty much no value and nearly every player would have variants of Kyogre (Primal). Like any other game you have to do a lot of battles to get good loot, and that's no different in Pokémon Vortex- whether it's for items from sidequests, points, training for exp or for obtaining Pokédollars, you just have to do a lot of battles (that being said, if you don't want to do that, then mystery boxes and auctions are another way to get rare items).
  9. If you're referring to Pokémon Vortex, you don't need a stone. Once Eevee has 3 happiness hearts, you have to evolve it at night (based on the time zone associated with your account) for Umbreon. You can also refer to the Pokédex link which will show you the required items needed for each Eevee evolution: https://www.pokemon-vortex.com/pokedex/Eevee
  10. seems like the punching bag Pokémon wanted you to train more
