This could be a way to obtain gmax pokemon. So there could be special raid dens spread randomly across the map, just like in sword/shield, and inside it there would be a gmax pokemon raid, the pokemon in it depending on the difficulty (1-5 star, again like sword/shield), with odds of it being a shiny version or legendary gmax raid. Although for the legendary raid bit to work, we would need some custom gmax forms for legendaries, most likely ones for the special pokemon vortex fan-made legendaries, again with a chance to be shiny. And they would have 3 max moves and the exclusive gmax move for the moveset. The level would also depend on the difficulty. I'd reccomend level 30 for 1, with 6000 hp, level 40 for 2, having 7000 hp, level 45/50 for 3, with 8000 hp, 60 for 4, with 9000 hp, and finally 75 for 5 star, the amount of hp being 10000. For legendary gmax raids, they would be level 85, with 20000 hp. And you would do all this with other players, but they would be replaced with CPU characters until live battles come to vortex. Also, feel free to share suggestions for custom vortex-only gmax forms!

Would it be possible to add a QOL change - "200" quantity buy amount for the pokeballs, in the pokemart?

Maybe was introduced in past, but it would be great if it was able to add notes to some friends, for example: "Do not trade because ..." or "gave him <pokemon name>" But ofcourse friend would be able to see those notes.

As an idea, I think that people who have friended each other could share money, Pokemon, and items with each other, kind of like the clan depository idea, just between two people. I don't know if this would work or not, but I hope that it's considered!

Idea Switching Pokémon during battle
iamascorbunnytrainer posted a topic in Provide Ideas & Feedback
it should be good that when we are battling then we will have a change pokemon option like other games so that for example: if i give then they bring i can switch into so thats why i was asking to bring tha icon @Sneezeball @Patrick and the full mod team -
I think kinda like saved teams, we should be able to move pokemon in our inventory, if we just instead of sort alphabetically, you can hit custom. If I had my strongest pokemon in the front, i can easily see them right away. Then maybe after that, you can have all the eevee evolutions. You can customize the order however you want! This is just an idea though, so it's ok if it sounds bad or weird. Thanks!!!

so when I used to play Pokémon heart gold and soul silver I had Pokémon in darecare and if you want to know more here’s the link: https://pokemon.fandom.com/wiki/Pokémon_Day_Care im sure the darecare isn’t only in heart gold but that’s the game I used to play but stoped when I reached Red. I just feel like why not bring this into pv, just to try it out?https://pokemon.fandom.com/wiki/Pokémon_Day_Care

I think there should be a wiki page for time based evos. Including mons like espeon, umbreon, and dusk lycanroc. Like, instead of there being no text under the day/night image, it should have text under the image that says day/night/dusk respectively. And by clicking on the text, it brings you to the dedicated page that lists all the evos of that time, shows when the cutoff times are, and explains that the times are based on your own time zone, as well as include a spot for dusk lycanroc all to alleviate noob confusion. I bring this up bc I didn't know where to look until someone told me I had to check the mon through when you click on them in game.

Just as an idea, I think that Shaymin(Sky) should be encountered during the day instead of night in the Pokémon Vortex world. I thought of this because in the Pokemon games it's only able to be in it's sky form during the day. This would be a small change, but I hope to maybe see it sometime!

Suggestion: Add a tab to Pokebay where you can set up alerts for and track specific things on Pokebay. If a Pokemon, item, etc. you have set to alert is listed, you will get a notification along the lines of: A portion of the notification text (such as "was just listed") would link to the Pokebay Alerts tab. The tab itself would contain a running list of every active auction listed for everything you have an alert set up for. The information there would be the same as the normal "Browse Auctions" tab, but limited only to those things being tracked. If there is a concern of spam notifications (since people could theoretically troll by listing the same type of Pokemon repeatedly), the notification could be limited to only appearing once per day for any one tracked thing. Proof of concept (edit - dropdown would also include items, promo codes, etc., not just pokemon and avatars. would also need delete button to delete tracked stuff. can include check box to opt out of notifications of each tracked item):

While I love the idea of exploring the world to fight the Galar gyms for the first time in order to encourage new players to explore, there is virtually no reason to go out and find them again after the first clear. Therefore, I think the Gym page should populate with each gym after it is cleared the first time, so that players can conveniently battle these gym leaders again. As an additional benefit, it will show players which Galar gyms they have cleared at least once without having to go to their profile -> View Badges -> Galar.

That's it. Just a small QOL change for when you want to evolve every form of a Pokemon without having to buy 5, and then 1.

Hello, being a long time player i think its kinda frustrating that we will never see a full section of the pokedex completed, because of all the event pokemon that are basically imposible to collect in all 6 variants. For example, we will never complete the kanto pokedex because we will never have all of the 6 variants for all the pikachu forms, and that is kinda discouraging, same goes for the furfrous, christmas, halloween mons etc. So i would like to suggest splitting the dex or at least not putting those event mons in the regular regional dex, just in the "event" section so we can have a sense of accomplishment and seeing the real progress made via hunting Thanks

A filter for the Pokedex to sort by route and possible encounters available there to see when you've 100% a location.

A battle simulator that you can use to train or to test something, like picking up a Lucario, choosing/randomizing his HP and status and put it versus a Rayquaza with custom stats too, you can choose if it was controlled by bot or both you, or versus

I would like to propose a change to the monthly rewards for seasonal VC. The point of seasonals is to reward the top performing players each month, and I've seen a few suggestions that propose a bit too much of an increase. I believe that I've come up with a fair reward pool that will promote more competition for the top spots, without drastically decreasing the value of the Pokemon rewarded for players efforts, while simultaneously making them more available. Proposal 1: Proposal 2: Though this would result in an additional 6-7VC per month: - It would be creating more competition/desire for 1st (Proposal 1). - Those previously discouraged to try attempting for the top 4 placements would have more reason to participate. Hopefully this would both overall increase people engaging with seasonals and keep the value of VC from being impacted too severely. Thank you for reading. Moltres is the best seasonal mon, spriter's bias.

Hi! I've got three ideas. The first and third ones can be a little more controversial, depending on the opinion. I would say 1. and 3. are ideas, 2. is a request. 1. Stats: To make legendaries "special", allow them to level up beyond 100, even if just a little bit. Same for Ultra Beasts. Motivation: Tried to convince a friend to try Vortex. As an hardcore Pokémon fan he was turned off by the possibility of a lvl 100 Rattata being as powerful as a lvl 100 legendary. He said he felt like legendaries weren't special enough, even though they are rare. I've never thought about this, until he pointed it out. What if legendaries could go up to 110? Some may say it's unbalanced, but in that case, so are "variants". It's a thought. 2. QoL: When we click a Pokemon's name to open its #ID entry, it shows the Stats, Info, Attack, Evolution. Add a section with "Owned Variants", so we know what other variants of that pokemon we have (something like the design with the 6 balls with the ones we don't have greyed out, as appears in the Pokedex). Motivation: Whenever I'm "mass-evolving" Pokemons, it quickly becomes painful and error-prone to open the Pokedex > write the evolution's name > view from there. 3. Visual: This is a very personal opinion - Revamp the "Metallic" variant. Motivation: I'm fully aware some people may like the Metallic variant, but it never clicked for me (I wonder if this is the same for others though). Here's why: I used to play back when Ancients were a thing. I'm not aware of the context for the change. Ancients weren't great, but they were much more interesting both visually and conceptually; Metallic looks like a washed out and ugly version of the "Normal" variant; Mystic & Dark already look similar to Normals, so if you have all 6 variants of any given Pokemon lined up, it looks extremely lazy and only shiny and shadow stand out (try it yourself); I was wondering how easy it would be to revamp the "Metallic" variant as efficiently as possible. I made some assumptions about the internal architecture of PV and made a very simple script that grabs all sprites in an input/ directory, and outputs all sprites converted into an automatically generated, but concise variant into an output/ directory. This makes it easy to come up with something interesting other than just saturation/contrast/brightness changes, without the pain of editing each sprite manually. I believe updating the sprites would be as simple as running the script > revising the output > substituting the sprites in the database with the ones generated by the script. The configurations for the custom variants are pretty much endless, but as a POC, I set up a "radioactive" variant, to test it out. In this example, the script is configured to apply to each sprite a hue change (completely random, re-running the script would generate different colors) + a subtle blur effect that adds a kind of "glow" to the sprites. Check it here (this is photoshopped with the sprites generated by the script, for the purpose of demo): Thank you for reading!

Many maby do not know, but there is a new Rotom form called (Drone) wich is yet to be added to vortex. Has mostly been seen in the 2019 anime of pokemon, also made an appearance in Sword & Shield. Just wanted to point it out and see if we could add it in the game.

Hey guys, I was wondering if y’all (admins) can add a feature where you can change your usernames? My username “HyperPanther” is just really weird and cringe now that I realised it literally after I made this account. But long story short, can you guys add the ability to change your user? ;-; HyperPanther

I think we should have a clan chat where clan members could talk to each other directly so events or other stuff the clan leader or members can notify everyone immediately. This way on wouldn't have to send everyone a message or chat since not everyone has discord and if they do they might not check it often.
-
I know...topics about sidequest are so controversial, but..i think i have a nice idea. Everybody knows how hard is to reach alola or galar region, take some time to do it and a lot of people complained about how hard is to get some fossil from sidequest. Let's say...Kalos Region. Take 1651 battles to complete and only 3% chance to get 1 fossil and after that...you need to do it again. Again 1651 battles, again 3% chance...and so on, but everybody know this "issue". My idea it's about a system: For every region completed you receive 1 Sidequest Point. There are 13 regions, so for a completed sidequest round you can get 13 points. With those points you can select your region where you want to start, like this: Kanto - Johto - 1 Point Sevii Islands - 2 Points TCG Islands - 3 Points Orange Islands - 4 Points Hoenn - 5 Points Almia - 6 Points Orre - 7 Points Sinnoh - 8 Points Unova - 9 Points Kalos - 10 Points Alola - 11 Points Galar - 12 Points In this way we can get more chances to win something nice and to be able to "Select Region" you have to do some usual sidequest. So...you can select from where you want to start, but you can't do it so easy. Haters are gonna say..yeeeah you will farm first 4 sidequest region, make 12 points and skip to galar region. That means you are an active player if you want to farm points to go directly to better regions and you want to win some nice stuff and even you skip to galar 100 times, 100 times you can get 2x Berry Sweet.
