Guest
inorder to maximise my time and reduce the effort i only use 2 arrow keys to move around the map. i.e only right and left arrow all the time. this means that im only on 2 squares of the map all the time. by doing this am i missing any pokemon? i mean are my chances of finding legendaries decreased if i play like this? or no matter how we move on the map the chances are the same? 0 Guest
Hey Dino Redd! The short answer is no (so if you don't want to read the rest of this paragraph of a response then you don't have to). The way that it works is each step you take you have a certain chance that you'll encounter a Pokemon. For a normal Pokemon it's 1/5 The chance that that Pokemon will be a unique is 1/100. The chances that a Pokemon will be a legendary is 1/1,000, and the chances that that Pokemon will be a unique leggy is 1/10,000. Also, note that there different Pokemon appear on different maps. For example only appears in the graveyard (maps 24 and 25) and it doesn't appear in any of the other maps. I hope this helps! ~Pheonix Lancing P.S. If I got the percentages wrong feel free to correct me. Edited April 11, 2016 by Pheonix Lancing SAS reminded me that different Pokemon are on different maps, so full creds to him. You moving right and left won't affect the chances. The chances of finding a legnedary is 1/1000. So you moving with the two arrow keys won't effect the chances! -1 sas
no. but you should also note that some legends are found in the water of grass and cave maps. so in order to get those legends, you need to be in the water region.
