clayf96
I'm pretty sure that Necrozma is not an Ultra Beast, but when I tried to catch it with a Master Ball it did not work. Is this right?

1 Auke1993
You are correct in your observation. In the main games, Necrozma is not considered an Ultra Beast. However, as shown and stated in the aftergame of Pokémon Sun/Moon, Necrozma does act like an Ultra Beast and appears in a similar manner. To stay close to that, the decision was made to make Necrozma appear at the same rate as Ultra Beasts. In the coding of Pokémon Vortex, that means Necrozma is caught in the same way as well. 0 Vulnerable
It's not an ultra beast in the official games but on vortex it is classified as an ultra beast and can only be caught using a beast ball or a vortex ball.

0 ShinyChamp123
Well it is an Ultra Beast my friend..... You seem to be confused with the Ultra Beast thing https://wiki.pokemon-vortex.com/wiki/Ultra_Beast Possibly it will help Necrozma is a Psuedo Ultra Beast and therby will be caught only using a Beast Ball or a Vortex Ball
