Answered Starters in the wild???

Hi. I'm trying to complete my pokedex but I can't find any starters in the wild. I was even able to find a legendary before I found a starter so I was wondering if you could still find starters in the wild. I haven't been able to find any since the start of v5 btw.

Starters can be found in the wild. They are rare encounters.
They are more likely to encounter than legendaries in the same area, but they are still rare. It may take a long time before you encounter any.
