It will be greatly appreciated. Who is referring to a creature. While this is a game, pokemon are considered creatures as a whole. You wouldn't say what was the first person you fell in love with, you would say who was the first person you fell in love with. It's mostly a personal preference since I refer to the pokemon as "him" and "her" not just it. It helps immerse me into the game and in hopes it will do the same to others.
