I want to do some trading with the gift card I’m not using, but I’m not sure it’s allowed. Main question is can I pay people in real life money for Pokémon?

Buying Pokemon from real money will lead to ban.

# Do not make trades involving real money. Trading with real money is against Pokemon vortex Terms of Service and involves real world risks. These risks include:

      - Your real name and address will likely be revealed to the person you are trading with

      - In the event of a scam, you may lose real money and/or in-game items involved

      - You may inadvertently become involved in a real-world crime such as credit card fraud or money laundering..

 

# Spending money on Vortex store items = allowed

Spending money on game content from other players = strictly prohibited

Deals such as exp training and giving other players MB codes as part of a deal = allowed but at your own risk.

 

 

You support the game by buying anything from store. But, if you are indulged in RMT deals you spoil the games for others.

This you can actually do if you buy the giftcard from the vortex store I believe
