Is the issue recurring or has it only happened once? It happens no matter how many times I try to do it. Can you recreate the issue? On my account, "Marioipod13", I am trying to link my Pokemon Vortex Game account (also "Marioipod13) and it isn't letting me do so. I can input my game account as many times as I want but each time I do it won't link the account. Have you checked the bug report forum to see if your issue has already been reported? Don't worry about it, that's no longer a thing and was only for when you could create forum accounts independent of a game account. That's no longer the case and logging into the forums requires a game account login so there's already an inherent link between the two.
