I just got back into the game and started a new account. I have heard rumors that the game might be rolled back after v3 is released officially. Seeing as how I started a new account during the beta, is it worth it to continue playing? Or should I just wait for the official v3 release to keep playing? Should I even worry about the game rolling back?

No, there will be no rollbacks, so enjoy the game  

The current version of Vortex is V3, not V2. V4 is the upcoming version. If you have an account right now (that is, in V3), it will not be deleted when V4 is released.
