    Check your sidequest battle number and compare it with the Number of Battles list given in the wiki to find out which region you're on

    Vortex has Allister and Gordie. Bea and Melony aren't there

    You might have enabled the legacy maps switch in the options tab.
    To disable it, go to the options tab, top left there is a switch for disabling legacy maps. When disabled, you'll be able to see the live maps
