If you feel like its a scam, then you shouldn't have talked to him in the first place. One thing you could've done is buy another Snorlaxite in auctions.

you can find rowlet in route 2 and 3.
you can find victini in Craggy Stairway.
You get silvally by finding type-null in route 1 and evolve it to silvally at lvl 3 happiness.
I have 3 type-nuls, so if you want one, message me.
