Dragonwings Posted August 15, 2018 Share Posted August 15, 2018 “ Please note that to link a game and forum clan, you must be the Owner of the forum clan and Co-Leader or higher of the in-game clan. ” Connecting your game account to forum account Link your forum account option The first step to connecting a clan between the game and forums is to connect your in-game account to your forum account. To do this, first make sure you are logged into the Pokémon Vortex forums (When you registered to the game, your username was reserved on our forums. You simply choose to log in and use the same login info as your game account. You do not need to register). Next, go to your edit profile page in the game and at the bottom next to the options of viewing your badges and achievements, there will be an option to 'Link Forum Account' - Press this and you will be led to the forums then right back to the game. If you were logged into the forums and your account wasn't already linked then you will be greeted with a success message that your forum and game account are now linked. Getting your forum clan ID If you haven't already, you will need to create a clan on the Pokémon Vortex forums. Once you have your clan, you can get the ID of it from the address bar on your browser when you select your clan from any of the forum menus and options. Your clan ID will be the number shown before the name of your clan in the browser address bar: So in this example, the clan ID will be 1. Adding your clan ID to your clan Now you have your clan ID from your forum clan, you can do to your main clan page and view the settings for it on the right panel. Enter your clan ID into the top text that says "Forum Clan ID" now press save and your game and forum clan will successfully be linked providing you are the Owner of the forum clan and at least Co-Leader or higher of the in-game clan.
