Every single time i long in it's night. Even in the morning like at 12:30. Is this a glitch?

Hi, brother created an account from pokemon vortex v3 or v2 or maybe even v1. Anyways he stopped playing for a while and when v4 finally came he wanted to play again. However when he typed in his username and password it said it didn't work. Also so we know it's not incorrect because it's still in my email. So I'm thinking it got deactivated somehow. Please help!
