    It's a glitch that normally happens when you catch or trade a pokemon. There are several fixes that you can do such as logging out and then back in, or battling a wild pokemon on the maps. It's a well known glitch and not harmful in any way, so don't worry. :)

    It's coming guys. I decided to re-write the last two chapters as I wrote them in a not so good mood and they're trash. D: Maybe tonight, maybe in the week.

     

    Edit: I'll treat you to the first paragraph of the latest chapter. :D

     

    Upon opening his eyes, the first thing that Booshe noticed was his painfully throbbing head. His limbs felt numb and before his eyes were tiny, brightly coloured spots, darting around in wild directions. Disorientated, he attempted to right himself, but fell back down smashing his head on the floor. He cried, and in the haze he noticed Pheen thrashing about on the floor in rhythmic spasms. He reached out for him, but the movement was slow, his arms like lead. Booshe was sure that his time was about to come to an end. It was then that a glow seemed to emanate from nowhere. It consumed the room, and caressed his injured body. He began to feel better, and noticed that Pheen's frantic movements and slowed considerably. A woman entered the room, and from her slender body emanated a white shimmer. She crouched next to Booshe and touched him softly on the head. He immediately felt better.

    • In chapter 4, in the last line of paragraph no.2, you have writen food and mead. (I know what mead is) But was it really mead or Meat?
    • In this “Anindot! My good friend, how are you being today?” he exclaimed.You spelled Anindit wrong.

    This some nice work! That is why, I made these points. :)

     

    I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for taking the time to make these points. It is indeed supposed to be mead. Apistanni people are omnivores, their diet doesn't consist solely of meat. ;) And as God has pointed out, Anindot is intentional, as is explained in the dialogue that follows.

    Vortex Tales

    Hello and welcome to the home of my little fictional creations: Vortex Tales. For ages I joked about the idea of writing a story based on the users of Pokemon Vortex, but finally decided to go through with it and I've enjoyed the process so far a lot. Here you can find some sneak previews, the entire story so far and have the opportunity to leave feedback or make requests. I hope you enjoy my writing. :D

     

    Why?

    I am writing this epic piece of literature not only because I enjoy wasting time, but I suffer from writers block too. Writing something less serious like this helps me with other writing ventures.

     

    Characters

    My stories feature characters based on members of Pokemon Vortex, particularly those who frequent/frequented the chatroom. There depictions are not meant to offend, but amuse. I often exaggerate characteristics, or change personalities completely. I may also add quotes or interesting pieces of conversation in my story. If you find yourself, or something you have said in the story and do not want to be involved (unless you are Pheen and got no choice mate) please message me and I will alter it (if I can be bothered.)

      The day was cold, and the mist was thick. Little Booshe of General Chat had just set out on an adventure, but was regretting the wild leap into the unknown almost immediately.

      "Come on Pheen, we must hurry lest we freeze to death in this fog," Booshe called to his companion.

       Exhausted and his mind occupied with other affairs, it was no secret that Pheen was struggling. Every step became harder, and on more than one occasion he had threatened to turn around and abandon this impossible quest. However, the thought that he may recover the Left Nut was his driving force. A family heirloom of great value and beauty had been snatched from his grasp and he hoped that their journey would lead them to it, or at least provide some clues as to its whereabouts.

    As they approached the village of Irc, Booshe grew anxious. There, above the gatepost, a banner associated with the ancient clan 'Artic Eeevees' flapped proudly in the wind. Arguably one of the greatest clans during a time when there were many, they had long since been banned from this land. They had once been an honourable and and amicable clan, but in later years had stooped to levels of cheating and exploiting others in order to gain coin and prestige. They disbanded when their leader could take criticism no longer, giving up all hope that they would be great once more. To see their banner now, in the middle of Vortex was not just rare, but undeniably strange.

    EXP Returned Back to 50K

    All pokemon with botted experience have been reset back o 50k. It is not an action that is taken lightly and pokemon are only reset if Pat is absolutely sure that the experience has been botted. The only way to bring the experience back would be to train it (legit) back to 12million again.

     

    Look on the bright side, at least your account didn't get banned. ;)

    i have a big problem

    All features that involve trading have been removed temporarily whilst Patrick cleans out some pokemon that have 'botted' experience. This was to prevent people panicking and moving the pokemon around. Everything will return to normal soon enough when he is finished and he will let us all know on the forums/social media. :)

    Have you ever shared your account by giving someone else your password? If so, it sounds like your password has been changed. This is why it isn't a good idea to share accounts, as more often than not, partnerships don't end well. If this isn't the case, was your account definitely created during V3? If you are trying to access an account from V2 they were all deleted, and can't be accessed any more.
