  1. Patrick's post in Is this against the rules? was marked as the answer
No, it's not against the rules. But remember, by logging into an account that is not yours, you're now forever "linked" to that person. If they do something wrong, it could come into question whether you were involved or not.
It's never worth logging into other people's accounts but you can do so at your own risk.

Also, if you weren't aware, two people cannot be logged in at the same time. If you log in and they are already logged in, it'll log them out.
  2. Patrick's post in remove original trainer was marked as the answer
All Pokémon have an Original Trainer (OT). It is not possible to remove it.
Recently, as part of a rolling out update, you may notice some Pokémon that display '???' as the OT, this is because the person who originally caught/obtained the Pokémon has been banned.
Previously it would still show their name but due to the nature of some bans (such as inappropriate usernames) it seemed strange to allow it to still be displayed anywhere so all banned accounts will now display '???' as the OT.
  3. Patrick's post in Dont have email linked with account was marked as the answer
If an account doesn't have a valid email address on it and you no longer remember the password then there's no way to recover it as you cannot prove ownership, sorry.
  4. Patrick's post in My necrozma dusk mane dissapeared was marked as the answer
You traded it to the user Heyboii yesterday for a Yamper.
  5. Patrick's post in Password Protection was marked as the answer
No, they're just not available for your account type. They're likely topics and posts for moderators.
  6. Patrick's post in how to get gigantamax was marked as the answer
Gigantamax Pokémon are not released for players to obtain yet, they're reserved for a future update.
For now they only exist as Pokédex entries and are possible opponents in the Season Battle Tower.
  7. Patrick's post in Level 5 legendary was marked as the answer
It's from an old Christmas event where you hatched eggs to obtain Pichu (Christmas) but some eggs had other Pokémon such as Jirachi.
  8. Patrick's post in auctioned pokemon into team was marked as the answer
You traded the Shiny Shroomish to McRe_341130 10 hours ago for a Ralts.
I see from your account though, you do not yet have enough Pokémon to put things into your team, you can only replace what is there until you fill the team with six Pokémon.
  9. Patrick's post in Help me trade was marked as the answer
You keep creating trade topics for single Pokémon. As the rules state, you need to list at least six Pokemon, otherwise use the community trade topic or status updates.
  10. Patrick's post in Where did small wins go in lottery? was marked as the answer
As billabob said, they’re still there. You still get refunded ticket amounts (25,000) on one number matches and a percentage of the pool on two number matches but the two number matches are just not listed any more for multiple reasons:
1a) It was always an extremely long list no one really cares about except for their own name. (maybe it could just show you your own wins, who knows)
1b) Because of the size of the list, it was potentially a bottle-neck on the site. (meaning if the list ever got too long, it would cause the page and possibly other sections of the game to slow down or time out when trying to load it)
    2) When there was no top prize winners but many two number matches, I would often get asked why those people never won an Arceus (Unknown) or a higher amount of money, which evidently, meant the list was confusing for many.

Its just unnecessary information if you ask me. As I pointed out in 1a, it could be useful to know your own wins even on smaller wins but there’s not much need to know what other people are winning other than top prizes.

If you have anything to add on to what I said, idea-wise, feel free to create a post in the Ideas & Feedback section of the forums, player thoughts are always appreciated.
  11. Patrick's post in Necrozma evolutions was marked as the answer
Yes, it needs to be Dark Solgaleo that is fused with Dark Necrozma to make Dark Necrozma (Dusk Mane).
When fusing any Pokémon (Such as during the Kyurem event and Zygarde event) The Pokémon being fused must be the same variant. The same applies for the non-event fusions of Necrozma.
  12. Patrick's post in Season battle tower was marked as the answer
It is a common practice for people that like to place in multiple seasons to "clean out" their account, yes.
They release everything they caught in the previous season or put them up for trade, leaving their account in a tidier state to do the next season.

Bear in mind, if you're someone who wants to do multiple seasons, you can keep your account in order as you go along. For example, if you catch a 3x Pidgey now and evolve two of them to Pidgeotto and Pidgeot for 3 "uniques"/dex entries, you can release them as soon as you're done with that, they will still count towards your season points/rank as anything you do is set in stone, it cannot be affected by releasing, trading or selling.

We hope to have more tools brought to players in future updates that can aid them in the daunting tasks of keeping their account in order for multiple seasons.
  13. Patrick's post in Arceus (Unknown) was marked as the answer
It can now learn Frenzy Plant. Seems like it was just overlooked when setting the attack list for Arceus (Unknown).
  14. Patrick's post in Darkest day opponent encounter was marked as the answer
Yes, you can encounter it as many times as you're willing to keep trying.
  15. Patrick's post in darkest day was marked as the answer
It’s not March 3rd yet so yes the event is still running.
The wiki is written in past tense so it doesn’t need editing again.

Discord is a separate service and application we have no involvement with. You’d have to ask them.

  21. Patrick's post in I lost my old account was marked as the answer
We cannot provide you with the email address as that is private information.
We can, however, show you an obfuscated version of it.

If you no longer have access to this email address then unfortunately the Pokemon Vortex account registered under it will be gone forever unless you remember the password. A current and valid email address is the only way to prove you own the account.
  22. Patrick's post in Pokemon vortex forums. was marked as the answer
You can't delete posts and topics, only edit them.
  23. Patrick's post in Forum Store Sale was marked as the answer
It has been used in the past, yes. Times such as Christmas or Cyber Monday. It's not often, though.
  24. Patrick's post in shiny greninja ash was marked as the answer
No, we do not return Pokemon that was scammed in trust trades. You do these trades at your own risk.
  25. Patrick's post in Season Points was marked as the answer
While Shaymin5272 is kind of right, it's not quite that simple.

A Pokémon that has a green plus next to it means you've already caught that Pokémon in the current season:

However, catching it again doesn't necessarily mean you get no points or points are lowered as actions do not have set values, points are calculated via a formula.
For example, if that Sandshrew has more experience than your current seasonal average experience, it will impact your season points positively.
If the Sandshrew has less experience than your current seasonal average experience, it will impact your season points negatively.

    Points formula & key:

    (√t * √a * √u * Log(b)) / 1000

    t = Total Experience
    a = Average Experience
    u = Unique Pokémon
b = Season Battle Tower wins
