This is true for everyone, no event is currently going on. I did not quite get your question, how is season related to event? And what is the question there, what you said is a statement!

You cannot really change your timezone once set. I am not sure whether V5 detects your timezone automatically, but since v4, we were asked to select a timezone and had to stick with it - forever. 
Try checking the options side-tab in the game.

Please recall if you had seen a sign saying, "You caught a Wild Dark Tapu Bulu" with a green background. If no, you haven't caught it.

Well, without asking this question, you could have directly searched for latiosnite in the poke-bay auctions' search bar. If still no one has it listed for auctions, you can join the Pokemon Vortex discord community. You will find the people who would help you find a latiosnite.

The events may return, but the versions wont. The event badges would be filled in the current version - version 4.

It depends on what your goal is. If you want side quests, you would rather have more dark pokemons in your team. Otherwise, if you are training your pokemons for experience push, you would have low level legendaries or pokemons and battle with training accounts. If you are doing clan battles, you can have any pokemon with 100 level

That's totally the owner's choice. I think it is a pretty good idea. But then, the battles will have to be made more harder and that can't be possible without a tough competition in online match. I think you should raise this as a feedback but again, as i have already said, it's the admin's choice.

Discord isn't at all mandatory. You can use the mobile chat tab given below at every page of this game. Moreover, you can message to a user in the message option which appears when you click the 'Your Account' option. Hope your doubt is cleared. Forum chat is also available.

I suggest you to send a re-set password link to your e-mail. Then check every account you own for the reset message by Pokemon Vortex.

No friend, even i have asked this question earlier, but it seems that there's no way. You can see it here, on the forums though. Under the follower's section in your profile.

That feature is no longer available. It was discontinued after v3. 

The rankings are not based wholly on experience. They are based on one's points. If you view the top trainers list, you will notice that their ranks decrease with points. 
 
            Thus, points make rankings differ. You can get that by battling.
