Exactly what Auke said. When you or even your "partners" decide to give your accounts password out to share it for whatever reason, you are assuming all benefits AND risk that come along with it.

Word of advice, your password should NEVER be your username or something easy like Apple. Make it hard and complex.

Do not give your password to anyone else under any circumstances.

To answer your question, it's to prevent people from trying to scam other players.
For example, if I was to name a normal Zekrom "Shiny Zekrom" and then try to trade it for someone, just for them to realize it's a normal one and not really a shiny.

Can you be a bit more specific where you're seeing this? I noticed this for Machamp if you're Viewing all, but please don't just say "Something is broken, fix it!" without giving as much details as possible.

The use of automated gameplay programs is against the rules, regardless of what you're using them for whether it be to catch something, stop you at a certain Pokemon, do battles, etc.

There is no way to undo a reset, you'll need to recomplete the sidequest.
Gyms cannot be reset.

If you're doing a contest on the forums, you would select the winners based off of what your contest rules were. Then ping a mod asking to close the thread.

The Vortex Store is a good way to earn them. You may also earn them through various parts of the site, those include possible prize drops from Sidequest, buying them from the Pokebay, or rare daily login prize.

Pokemon can only be sold or traded.
The trade system is for offering Pokemon for Pokemon.
Pokebay you can sell Pokemon or other things for money.
Other than that, you cannot really sell them for other stuff.

Beast Balls work on Ultra Beast only.
Master Balls work on all non Ultra Beast Pokemon.
Vortex Balls work on all Pokemon, regardless of UB or not.

No, with the start of v3, all accounts were wiped and had to be recreated by the users themselves.
The good news is there won't be anymore restarts like this.

In order to catch a Pokemon, you must throw a Pokeball of some type at it. Weakening the Pokemon by lowering it's HP through battle will increase the chances.

Just block the user. Just because someone accused you of something doesn't make it true. By reacting to them, you're giving them what they want, for you to get upset.
