Hammer1248
The best easy team to get without legendary are Turtonator, Duraludon, Hawlucha, Sableye, Torterra/Swampert, and Bewear. They dont have to be Dark types but it certainly helps against Shiny and Mystics. Each pokemon can easily be bought for around 25,000 poke if you dont want to find them. Torterra/Swampert are common starters. The first 5 are absolutely necessary for a balanced team that can OHKO and team wipe in sidequests. Everything except Turtonator have resistances and are super easy to train. STAB Shell Trap OHKOs like 40% of pokemon in sidequests. STAB Draco Meteor Takes out most other normies. OHKO Head Smash for shiny flying types. And Solarbeam as the best coverage move possible. This pokemon is a beast at sidequests. Resists most things and wipes out an easy 4 to 6 pokemon. Prioritize spending the 400,000 poke or so on moves. It is well worth it. STAB Gyro Ball easy knocks out what Turtonator does not. STAB Draco Meteor switches automatically from Turtonator for faster grinding. Solarbeam switches easy as well and with Duraludons typing is excellent at team wiping water and rock teams. Use Stone Edge for the odd Charzards, Talonflames, and Moltres. It comes in as a OHKO more often than you think. Most fights dont go past these two. They are absolute beasts. Stab Focus Punch. Stab Sky Attack. Fling coverage. Grass Knot coverage. He is a beast but seems to die quick. Stab Fling 2HKO most things. Metal Burst and Dazzling Gleam(beats dream eater as mystic) 2HKO most things that resist Fling. You can use use Low Kick or Dream Eater if you want. But what I do is use Mud Slap to help catch rare pokemon as it only does 35 to 70 dmg to most pokemon. Sableye with resists and mystic avoid a ton of attacks. I have a Dark Sableye that crushes as well but Mystic seems to get more money and experience as it is more likely to do a full sweep. STAB Earthquake is essential to cover electric types. (Doesnt have to be Torterra, Swampert is excellent as well)Stab Solar Beam/Frenzy Plant. Superpower for coverage. Choose any move you want for coverage or a weak move to catch pokemon. This is easy as most people use these as starters. STAB Flail. STAB Focus Punch. Coverage Fling. This will OHKO most normal pokemon. Use what ever move you want again to fill out coverage. For EVENTS and more competitive swag points you should use. V-Crete will wreck EVERYTHING this is hands down the best offensive pokemon in the game. Final Gambit, Fling and Solarbeam/Bolt Stike for coverage. I like Solarbeam as it has better accuracy and swaps fast to other pokemon in your party. Gyro Ball, Fleur Cannon, Solarbeam and Hidden Power Ground or Fire for coverage. Covers anything Victini misses. Easy team sweeps as Magearna has excellent defensive typing. Can OHKO almost anything with Prisimatic Laser. Solarbeam, Earthquake and Stone Edge for coverage. Fling, Reversal, Future Sight, and anything you want probably Flamethower. Can be Mystic instead of Dark if you want. Swap with if you must. Purely for type coverage. Works as well if you really want Pyscho Boost to OHKO things. Recommended moveset is Focus Punch, Sky Attack, Frost Breath, and Fling. Pyscho Boost, Focus Punch, Fling, and Solar Beam for Deoxys. Again Purely type coverage. Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, Punishment, and Solarbeam 2HKO most things. Quick Update! Moved things around and acquired everything except Dark Necrozma and Dark Magearna. I have a metallic Necrozma and regular magearna. Ive completed a couple sidequest runs and I have fine tuned the fastest team comp and coverage moves. Dark Darkrown is the best lead. Fling, Reversal, Future Sight, and Earthquake. Sableye is great too but Reversal kills pesky Shiny Dark and Normal types. Well worth the investment. Reversal is the sole reason that I chose Darkrown over Sableye. If you must do Sableye I recommend Dark Sableye with Fling, Metal Burst, Power Gem, and Future Sight. Dark Turtonator. Hands down the best coverage in the game. I have tried Victini(swap for Clan battles though), and Dratinire but the amount of times Victini dies early before sweeping is frustrating, Dratinire constantly needs Solarbeam. So Turtonator wipes anything Darkrown misses. Dark Deoxys with Psycho Boost, Focus Punch, Fling, and Solarbeam. Psycho Boost OHKO most things the immaculate coverage of FP and Fling is just so good though. Id say about 90% of the time I just use Solarbeam to mop up rock and water types. Which is why Hawlucha isnt in this spot. The auto swap to solarbeam saves precious seconds. Might swap for Dark Necrozma for style points but this covers everything you need. Dark Hawlucha has the best Super effective moveset in the game. STAB Focus Punch, and Sky attack kill most things. What those dont get, Fling and Grass Knot mop up. Place after Deoxys for faster swaps from FP and Fling. Dark Magnezone. The biggest weakness this team has is Fairy types and Water/psn or grass or flying as those resist solarbeam coverage. Ive tried Magearna(albeit not dark) and Duraludon. Magnezone is just faster at OHKO with Gyro Ball and Electroball. I use Hidden Power ground and flying for coverage but rarely use them. I wish that there were better electric moves but this does great for its only purpose which is to sweep fairies, gyrados, tentacool, and ludicolo. Dark Torterra/Swampert. Ive found Tortetta slightly faster but really the team just needs Earthquake STAB from something as every other thing is covered. This is purely for shiny/metallic electric teams. Movesets are Leaf Storm(more accurate than Frenzy Plant), Equake, Superpower, Stone Edge. Hydro cannon, Equake, Superpower, and Blizzard/Ice Beam for Swampert. I will say the ice coverage comes in handy for 4x sweeps of dragonite, flygon, etc. But Water is one of the most common sidequest teams. Honorable Mentions Dark Shiftry. Swap with 3 or 6. Great moves and powerful coverage. Leaf storm, Fling, Focus Punch, Hurricane. Dark Mew Swap with 3. Extra Sky attack, Focus Punch, Fling for auto swapping Hawlucha. Big advantage is Frost Breath for some needed coverage but I rarely used or needed it. It also seems to dies fast. Hawlucha is just better, survives more and has STAB advantage. Mew has one of the best coverage movesets in the game. Excellent pokemon. Dark Duraludon. Swap with 2 or 3. Gyro Ball, Draco Meteor, Stone Edge, and Solarbeam. Swaps fast with Turtonator, or replaces it for killing Fairy types. One of my favorite attackers in the game. He just isnt as fast as other options. Excellent defensive typing. slay3r
This is my team, hard to get past first 2 pokes. pretty easy to obtain took me about 4 hours to find the all the Victinis and Zekrom. Works against any sidequest/special battle team. The last 3 pokes cover the weaknesses of the Victinis. Also I replaced Brine with Water Spout for Jellicent. Dark Victini OHKOs pretty much all Pokemon. Metallic and Normal Victini OHKO most pokemon except Shiny and Metallic.

I suggest at least 3 dark pokemon specifically Dark Sableye/Darkrown, Dark Turtonator/Victini/Dratinire, and Dark Hawlucha. As these will cover 99% of your sidequest battles. Shiny does nothing but look cool. Mystic is the best defensively as it can give you an entire free turn or two.
