Answered Not being able to view old chats

I used to chat with a guy on the vortex, he hasn't been online for almost a year now but the issue is I can't view the chat, since he's not online I can't exactly open up the chat, and I'm not sure if the chats gets deleted once we close them or not but if they aren't, is there a way to open up the chats without the other person being online?

I tried to do what you said on the pc, but there was no such option, on the other hand I was actually able to search names on mobile! It's weird but it worked so, thanks!
