  1. Patrick's post in Old accounts/e-mail deleted was marked as the answer
If you no longer have access to the email address then no, unfortunately there is no way to get a list of the Pokémon Vortex accounts associated with said email account as there is no proof they belong to you, we do not give that information out.
This self-use tool is how you get a list of accounts associated with an email address but as stated, you need access to the email address to retrieve the email it sends.
  2. Patrick's post in Genesect event was marked as the answer
The 17th is when no more Douse Drive auctions will be listed, effectively ending the event since you also cannot resell them.
However, you will be able to use any that were purchased until the end of August. (August 31st)
  3. Patrick's post in Meltan Candies Amount was marked as the answer
Yes, you need 50 to evolve a normal and 400 to evolve a variant.
  4. Patrick's post in Points getting deducted? was marked as the answer
The game works like a living dex, that’s why.
You need to own a Pokémon for it to be considered obtained.
For example, you need a Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot and Pidgeot (Mega) all at the same time, this will count as 4 “Uniques” (Pokedex entries)
If you have these four and you evolve your Pidgey into Pidgeotto, your Unique count will drop to three because you now have two Pidgeotto and are missing Pidgey again (also if either Pidgeotto has less experience than your account average experience, this will lower the points further).

Releasing/trading does not affect seasons, everything you do in a given season is set in stone and is only wiped once the season is over.

There are many forum topics covering this if you use the search, I’m sure there will be some that go into even greater detail, including an explanation on the mathematic formula to points, which is public knowledge.
  5. Patrick's post in Account password forgot was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, it seems you used an (obvious) invalid email when you created the account.
The only other way to prove ownership of an account is if it is connected to a Discord account, which you did not do.

The account cannot be restored because there is no definitive way to prove it is yours, sorry.
  6. Patrick's post in How to get Shiny Marshadow avatar was marked as the answer
There is no Shiny Marshadow avatar.
Shiny avatars that do exist, come from PokéBay’s exclusive auctions.
  7. Patrick's post in Is zacian (corwned) still avalible was marked as the answer
That was a limited time event that has now ended.
You can currently only get Zacian & Zamazenta (Crowned) through trade or Auctions.
  8. Patrick's post in Lottery number order was marked as the answer
The numbers can be in any order.

As a side note, can you please title your topics correctly. Calling every question "Need help anyone know?" is not helpful when other people need to search for the same question to see if it was already answered.
    Thanks.
  9. Patrick's post in Clan forum? was marked as the answer
The clan forums no longer exist. A way to set a clan avatar will be added within the game in a future update.
  10. Patrick's post in Something about my previous message was marked as the answer
Because your trade history was removed.
The point is, your account (whether it was you or someone else) traded those Pokémon to that account for an Unown (A).
  11. Patrick's post in Marshadow Avatar was marked as the answer
1:6 chance to unlock when you claim a Marshadow promo code.
  12. Patrick's post in Where is Unown Cave?! was marked as the answer
When you reach the western most point of route 21, go up, there’s a small opening and then go left, there will be a cave entrance - That’s the Unown Cave.
  13. Patrick's post in Event Encounter was marked as the answer
Theoretically, yes. But it comes with risks.
One example is, if we decide to reboot the map server then all spawns are lost.
There’s no reason to “hold on” to a spawn instead of just catching it when you encounter it.
Maybe ultra beasts if you currently do not own any Beast/Vortex Balls and need to then go and source them from somewhere to catch the Pokémon but everything else should be caught when encountered to minimise the risk of losing it.

  14. Patrick's post in Shiny Zygarde (complete) was marked as the answer
No. Pokemon cannot have their OT changed.
  15. Patrick's post in What’s a Unique Pokemon in tower? was marked as the answer
It's not relevant to the Battle Tower. That's Pokémon you catch within the season.
Pidgey is a unique Pokémon, Pidgeotto is a unique Pokémon, catching a second Pidgey is not a unique Pokémon, but a duplicate.

Battle tower wins and wild Pokémon caught are what contributes to your season statistics. The reason the Unique count is visible within the battle tower is just for convenience but has no relevance to battles.

Yes, you can bind keys as long as that key bind action isn't clicking for you.

Galar sidequests and Discord quiz shop.
  19. Patrick's post in What pokeball in pkdx indicates was marked as the answer
If you're looking at a Pokémon you or someone else owns, the ball shown there is the ball that Pokémon was obtained in.
If it's a generic Pokédex entry (such as when you click an evolution link while looking at an owned Pokémon), it will show a standard PokéBall and has no significance other than to mirror owned Pokémon's Pokédex entries.
  20. Patrick's post in Categories in Change Attacks? was marked as the answer
There’s 3 attack categories; Special, Physical and Status.
At the moment they mean nothing in Vortex but it was taken from the original Pokémon games, every attack has a category it belongs to.
The only thing worth noting that does apply to that in Vortex currently is that status attacks will not deal initial damage, they are to inflict status effects on the opponent such as Paralysis, Sleep, Poison etc.
  21. Patrick's post in Trade Questions was marked as the answer
You are welcome to do that in private but you cannot post anywhere about it publicly. That includes, but is not limited to, here on the forums, our Discord server or your in-game bio.
It is considered a “trust trade” which requires both traders to trust the other player will hand over what it is they wanted in an after-the-fact manner which usually opens the door to scamming.
You cannot advertise trust trades anywhere on Vortex.
  22. Patrick's post in Zacian (Crowned) after event? was marked as the answer
No, they need to be evolved before April 7th 23:59 BST
  23. Patrick's post in Zacian Crowned Avatar was marked as the answer
    Yes.
Or you can buy it from someone else through PokéBay.
  24. Patrick's post in Training Pokemon for others? was marked as the answer
It is allowed but frowned upon.
You do these kinds of deals at your own risk as you’re not guaranteed to get what you wanted in the deal and may lose your Pokémon and/or money in a scam.
If this happens, it’s unlikely we’ll intervene.
