Actually good idea, like in real auctions when a bidder increases the price the countdown starts from 3 again.
But this would be vastly criticized as most of the people do sniping and they like to do so by bidding a high at the last second.

You are saying like the feature on club penguin where you can say some sentence or send some emojis publically which appears on the map to all.
I was going to post this same idea for a more interactive map.

When i was looking for a shiny rayquaza encountered like 3 normal kartans and 2 metallic kartanas but had to kill them all because i didnt have a beast ball and back then i didnt know i could just leave the map and go buy one and come back and catch it
