sakeJPN Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 (edited) Hey guys, I remember playing this game 10 years ago and I recently came across this while looking to get rid of that Pokemon itch. I was playing PokeMMO at the meantime but remembered about this one randomly. I couldn't believe it was still here and kicking hard and kudos to the developers for working so passionately on a game for so long now. Anyways, I also grew up playing OSRS and loved this certain swamp man (Swampletics), and wanted to implement some type of restrictions for myself as well to keep it fun and challenging. The challenge is; Finish the entirety of the Pokedex all OT and all lvl 100 but only restricting myself to one location at a time. I have chosen to start at the Scorched Sanctum and switching from floor to floor every time I encounter a legendary 3 times. Because I can catch a Larvitar and a Bagon elsewhere. I'm only staying until I catch the 3 Moltres I need and the rest of the Charmandars I need as well. I started playing on 4/20 (lmao) and already have accumulated 26.9M exp, 12.7M pokedollars, 70k avg exp, 316 pokemon, and 211,724 points. In the span of 6 days I have reached a rank of 2,763rd globally and 320th in the USA. I have already caught one 1 UB and have a duplicate of each Groudon for when I can get a hand on red orbs. I am glad to be back and relive the nostalgia and addiction that was Pokemon Vortex V1. Feel free to stop by the Scorched Sanctum and say hi! Once I am finish I will most likely be going to Route 6 or 7. I will post an update once I have finally completed Scorched Sanctum. Are you planning to just go for the standard Pokémon, or for the different variants as well (such as Dark and Metallic)? Especially if you choose the latter, it'll take a very long time, even without restrictions. I've been playing for multiple years, and still haven't completed my Pokédex. It's been my goal for a very long time. Thanks! I'm going for all the variants as well. It's taken me 6 days to complete about 95% of Scorched Sanctum. The grind is what makes it fun and the feeling of finally grabbing that last variant is fun. Moltres (Mystic, Metallic, and Shiny) manages to escape me while I run into all sorts of Groudons endlessly lmao Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
