Answered clarification on rules

I'm well aware that botting is not allowed, but i wanted to know if it was allowed to make a private browser extension that would allow me to easily see if a pokemon i have encountered is a certain type, say, flying, without having to google it or remember it for every pokemon.

 

I haven't made the browser extension yet, since i wanted to make sure i was actually allowed to.

 

For some more technical aspects: it would not alter anything in the game, only read data that is already available to the game.

 

I also haven't even checked if the info i need is even available, so i don't even know if it's possible to make this, but i didn't want to look too far into it in case this wasn't allowed

No, that's not allowed.

It would fall under this specific section of the Terms of Service:

Quote

Altering the code (including but not limited to the user interface) of Pokémon Vortex is not allowed. The website must be used as provided without any visual or mechanical alterations.
