  1. Auke1993's post in Bottled Exp...? was marked as the answer
Although I haven't had it to any of my Pokémon (to my knowledge), I know the EXP reset does happen if it was botted.

If you know of any botters, please report them to Patrick, the owner of Pokémon Vortex.
It doesn't matter in what way they bot. If you notice someone doing it, please report it.
  2. Auke1993's post in Magikarp splash event. was marked as the answer
Did you check your promo codes?

Assuming the Beast Ball required 642 points or les (which I don't remember), the Beast Ball promo code should be listed with the rest of your promo codes.
  3. Auke1993's post in night was marked as the answer
The time of day within Pokémon Vortex is based on the server time.
With the server being based in the UK, whichever time it is in the UK is applied to the server.
From 7am to 7pm server time it'll be daytime in-game.
From 7pm to 7am server time it'll be nighttime in-game.
The server time is listed at the top of Pokémon Vortex.
  4. Auke1993's post in Can I find alolans after resetting side quests? was marked as the answer
You will not be able to find Alolan forms in the wild after resetting your Sidequests.
To encounter them again, you will have to go through most of the Sidequests again until you reach Alola again.
  5. Auke1993's post in Nex Update was marked as the answer
    No-one knows.
Patrick may have an idea. he's the developer after all.
He will let us know when we're close to the next update.
  6. Auke1993's post in Can't talk in the Discord server was marked as the answer
This form of verification was introduced to make it a lot more difficult for spammers and other people that were banned to create new accounts and join the server again really easily.
After a while of doing it without, it was decided this measure had to be taken.
  7. Auke1993's post in Which pokemons do I train for money? was marked as the answer
Using low-leveled Pokémon with immunities, especially of those Pokémon are Level 6, gives you a lot of money very quickly.
It sounds like you're on the right track.

  8. Auke1993's post in One question was marked as the answer
You cannot choose when it is say and night in Pokémon Vortex V4.
Instead, day and night are based on real-life time.
From 7am to 7pm UK time, it is daytime in the game.
From 7pm to 7am UK time, it is nighttime in the game.
  9. Auke1993's post in Different Forms of Vivillon was marked as the answer
Every account can only evolve into a single pattern of Vivillon.
To obtain other forms, you need to trade or use other accounts that you own.
  10. Auke1993's post in Cant find my pokemon was marked as the answer
Did you click 'Continue' after the ball said it was successful?
That will take you to the screen that'll give a summary of the battle. In your case that'd be the game telling you you caught Registeel.
If you went to a different map or menu before going to the confirmation screen, the capture will not have been registered.
  11. Auke1993's post in Critical-hit Ratio ??? was marked as the answer
I've not actually thought about that much.

I'm almost completely certained you cannot get critical hits in wild battles, to help with catching Pokémon.
What the rate is in other battles I'm not sure.
  12. Auke1993's post in Is Pichu able to evolve? was marked as the answer
You're likely looking at a Notched Ear Pichu. In Vortex this is called Pichu (Notched).
    Pichu (Notched) does not evolve.
Regular Pichu do evolve. I just checked and the game informed me that Pichu needs to be at Level 3 Happiness minimum to evolve.
  13. Auke1993's post in Pheromosa was marked as the answer
    There is no mistake.
    Pheromosa is an Ultra Beast.
Ultra Beasts can only be caught using a Beast Ball or Vortex Ball.
Other Balls never work on them.
  14. Auke1993's post in Username status was marked as the answer
A change in username is not possible.
If you would like to use a new username, a new account has to be created.
You're allowed to have as many accounts as you want, so you don't have to worry about being punished for this.
  15. Auke1993's post in Caught Pokemon not showing up? was marked as the answer
Did you click 'Continue' after catching the Pokémon?
You have to do that for the capture to count.
The same goes for when you defeat a Pokémon in battle.
Only when you click 'continue' and reach the summary of results (including the EXP/Money you gained), does it get saved.
  16. Auke1993's post in Answer me this!! was marked as the answer
To catch Alolan Forms or evolve into them you need to be in Alola or to have beaten Alola in Sidequests.
  17. Auke1993's post in Edit profile was marked as the answer
This is an example of the Pofile on the Switch.
The Switch Friend Code in this example is SW-8496-9128-4205.

  18. Auke1993's post in POKEMON EDITIONS was marked as the answer
1st Edition is most important with event Pokémon.
Some event Pokémon are only distributed once. Therefore, all of these Pokémon will be 1st Edition.
However, some event Pokémon may be redistributed in the future. These Pokémon will be 2nd edition (or whatever else Patrick decided to call it).
Although these event Pokémon will still be valuable, to big collectors the 1st Edition Pokémon will likely be more valuable.
  19. Auke1993's post in magnetic fields was marked as the answer
It's not specifically listed on Vortex where the magnetic fields are.

The magnetic fields correspond to the magnetic fields in the main games.
I will list these locations below.
In Sidequests, you go through all main game areas. This includes the areas with a magnetic field.
The 'numbers' you're referring to are the completed Sidequest battles. These are listed in Vortex as well.
After a certain amount of battles you'll enter Mt. Coronet in Sinnoh (I don't know exactly which battle is which area). This number is always the same. You'll be there for a few battles, and then exit and be in a new area.
While you are in Mt. Coronet in Sidequest, you can evolve Pokémon that need a magnetic evolution.

The same goes for all locations listed below. For example, if you replace Mt. Coronetin what I just wrote with Kalos Route 13, then you will have the special magnetic field as well.

    All Magnetic Fields:
    Hoenn - New Mauville
    Sinnoh - Mt. Coronet
    Unova - Chargestone Cave
    Kalos - Route 13
Alola - Blush Mountain and Vast Poni Canyon.

The specific amount of battles you need to complete to get to each area I don't know.
All I have for you is the list of battles at which each Region starts and ends. Somewhere in there are the areas you're looking for. That way you'll at least have an approximation.

I hope this helped you enough.
  20. Auke1993's post in daily login for one account per ip? was marked as the answer
There is no way for multiple people on the same IP adress to get the daily log-in reward.

If you'd like to share the rewards with your brother, you could alternate who logs in first on a given day.
  21. Auke1993's post in MAGNETIC FIELD EVOLUTION was marked as the answer
    Yes, there are.
You already mentioned Charjabug evolving into Vikavolt.
Magneton and Nosepass also need a special magnetic field to evolve into Magnezone and Probopass respectively.
  22. Auke1993's post in Exp was marked as the answer
I made a video in November discussing this exact topic.
You can watch it by clicking on the video below.
It covers every detail you may want to know about quick/easy EXP training.

  23. Auke1993's post in EVOLVE was marked as the answer
At this time it's past 7pm server time, making Shiny Umbreon the only possible evolution at 3 hearts of Happiness and without an item.
Once the server time is between 7am and 7pm, Shiny Espeon will be the evolution you can go for.
  24. Auke1993's post in encountered a wild Mystic Xurkitree lvl 75 and was not caught using master ball? was marked as the answer
