Answered How does Average EXP work

I've been Wondering How average exp works.There are people with less points and Exp than me but more average exp than me. I Tried searching on forums but I couldnt find anything that could answer my question.My average exp is low so I want to increase it

Average EXP, to my knowledge, looks at the average EXP on ALL of your Pokémon.

If you have 10 Pokémon of 5 million EXP each, you will have 5 million average EXP with a 50 million total.
If you have 50 Pokémon with 2 million EXP each, you will have 2 million average EXP with a 100 million total.

That's how differences can be made.

Assuming you have a decent amount of Level 100 Pokémon, catching wild low-level Pokémon will usually lower your average EXP, as the EXP on that Pokémon (3000 on a Level 6 Pokémon) is normally lower than your average at the time.
