  1. Patrick's post in Permission to mention vortex in my website was marked as the answer
Sure, that's fine. What's your website for? Also can I take a look at it? If you don't want others from here looking at it, feel free to PM me the link.
  2. Patrick's post in Attack category was marked as the answer
Because status effects exist so people may want to know if an attack is a status attack. Of course physical and special have no difference in vortex yet, they're just there to fill the gaps.

  7. Patrick's post in How to link email to in-game account? was marked as the answer
This isn't possible right now. The option to change email will be added again soon when it has been revised.

The gender symbol is next to every Pokémon's name.

  10. Patrick's post in CHANGE COUNTRY was marked as the answer
Your country in the game isn’t based on your current location, it is not optional.
  11. Patrick's post in Nicknaming Shenanigans was marked as the answer
Why would we be using Urban Dictionary for anything?
Anyway, I asked the moderator who declined it why they did it because I don’t see why it would have been declined myself. The reason will not be relayed to you, I just wanted to let you know it was the sole decision of one person to do so.
I will add the nickname to your Joltik later on and you will not be charged again for the nickname.

(By the way, a simple “why was this name declined?” Would have been fine. You come across as rude)
  12. Patrick's post in Exclusive Pokemon was marked as the answer
There are no exclusive Pokemon for simply being on the leaderboard. You need to have placed in the top 100 at the end of a season and you will receive a random form of Porygon:

The top 5 will get a special variant out of Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic or Shadow.
The other 95 will get Normal.

Xerneas (Neutral) is a possible prize from the Kalos Sidequests.
  13. Patrick's post in Rotom forms was marked as the answer
The question forums are not used for these kinds of questions.
There is no definitive answer to a Pokémon's value but if you want some advice on it then you can use this forum topic:

  14. Patrick's post in Wiki and Pokedex was marked as the answer
The wiki is actually run by myself but it's for the community to contribute the content and keep it updated.
Anyway, the Pokédex is outside the game for multiple reasons:
It doesn't actually need to be inside the game, there is nothing about it that is specific to your account so it does not need to be locked behind a login. It is better for the website's search results when people are looking for something on a search engine. As Neor said, it can just be opened in a new tab and left there or opened and closed at your convenience. It's only a few clicks away.
  15. Patrick's post in Seasonal Top Trainers was marked as the answer
#1 - All battles count towards your seasonal win count - Clans, trainers, gyms and wild battles.
#2 - All Pokémon you catch that season will count towards your uniques, variant does not matter.
#3 - Pokémon evolved need to have been caught that season to count as a unique.
#4 - Pokémon obtained from auctions or trades do not count, you have to catch or redeem a Pokémon yourself for that season.
#5 - So far, no, you cannot see your current seasonal points unless you have already made it to the top 100. You can, however, go to our Discord and go to the #bot-commands channel to use the command:
    !card <user>
    for example:
    !card Patrick
And the bot will show you your trainer card that will have your current seasonal rank on it.
  16. Patrick's post in why do we get taxed on the auctions? was marked as the answer
The taxed money goes nowhere, it’s just removed from the game.
The reason this is there is because like any economy, digital or otherwise, there needs to be costs so prices don’t inflate. It’s what’s known as a “Money Sink”. Without it, everyone gets richer without getting poorer and eventually the prices of everything inflate so much that new players can’t afford anything.
It’s basically a balance to keep things affordable for everyone.
  17. Patrick's post in seasonal rankings was marked as the answer
It needs to be unique to that season, yes.
For example, if you catch a Cubone this month, it will count as 1 unique this season. When the season ends and the leaderboard is reset, you can catch another Cubone for it to count to the next season, even if you have the previous season's Cubone still on your account.
Trading has no effect on seasons, you must do everything on your own account for it to count.
  18. Patrick's post in Webhooks was marked as the answer
VortexBot doesn't work on a webhook so that wouldn't be possible.
  19. Patrick's post in balls was marked as the answer
    Beast Balls:
Sidequests (Alola region prize) Mystery Boxes PokéBay
     Vortex Balls:

  20. Patrick's post in Edition of pokes was marked as the answer
Editions are based on availability of a Pokémon. Right now they only really apply to event and premium Pokémon.
For example, Rotom (Halloween) was released in 2015 for the first time so those obtained then are Edition 1. It then had a second release in 2017 and those obtained this year are Edition 2. If Rotom (Halloween) has another release then those will be Edition 3 and so on.

  22. Patrick's post in Pontos was marked as the answer
  23. Patrick's post in Account recovery from v3 was marked as the answer
Hi, no one will be able to find your account if you don't know it yourself. That is information only you could possibly know, how would anyone else know your username?
I'm sorry but your search will return no results, you're just going to have to think long and hard about what your username was.
  24. Patrick's post in Dont remember the username was marked as the answer
This isn't possible due to the way email to account linking works. There is no authorisation process to putting an email onto an account and the game allows the same email to be used on multiple accounts.
Because of this, it would not be wise to allow something like emailing a user the list of all game accounts linked to a specific email.
  25. Patrick's post in SEASONAL TOP TRAINERS was marked as the answer
The primary factor to being on the seasonal leaderboard would be unique Pokémon.
The more Pokémon you catch and evolve, the more you will climb ranks and have the possibility to be on the leaderboard.
