REAPERonIG
I was thinking, maybe you could add a way to cancel a bid ? Cause i bid 500k on a mystic mewtwo, then 5 mins after, i found my own! So I wanted to cancel the bid on the mewtwo but I couldn't....i don't know, is this a good idea? Auke1993
I could see why someone would want that if you purely look at your own gameplay. However, even for a short time, your bid affects how others (can) bid. Especially a big bid on something could be cancelled last-second to ensure no-one gets the Pokémon/item, to annoy the person putting it up for auction. To then remove your bid would be unfair to others. It's not possible in real-life either (to my knowledge) to cancel a bid. I don't expect this to happen.

Developer Patrick Posted March 4, 2021 Developer Share Posted March 4, 2021 This will not be happening and has been suggested multiple times previously. As Auke1993 has pointed out, there's a lot of complications in retracting a bid, the biggest one being; what happens to the person who bid before you when you retract your bid? Are they automatically the top bidder again and their money is taken without their consent? If so, what if they no longer have the money they bid on it previously, does their account go into a negative balance? Unfortunately you'll just have to be more careful when making bids. 2
