Answered Number of Specific Pokémon

Hi,

Many times when looking some players profile, in bio section, someone says (for example): "got 5th shiny Necrozma (Dusk Mane) in game" , other player says (for example): "69th Zacian (Crowned) in game" , etc.

Well, I want to know how they know the number of their pokemon?

 

I'm asking this question^ bcoz in one of my accounts, I got a shiny event pokémon from 2016 year, and I believe it's one of the 1st - 20th in game, but I'm not 100% sure, so I wanna confirm!

There is no ingame option to check which pokemon in order you have.
Players the moment they get rare pokemon, go to https://www.pokemon-vortex.com/pokedex and check how many of said pokemon exist in game and that way they know which pokemon they have.
