Like for example, Ditto uses Transform at Pikachu, then Ditto really turns into Pikachu. Another example is, Mankey uses Leer at Charmander, then Charmander's defense will go down like in the actual game. If this idea isn't added, Ditto will be really useless. The Ditto/Transformed Ditto can do the same attacks as the poke, has the same defence and attack if both of the pokes are level 100 and does not need to send effects to the pokemon because that would be considered godmodding at some point. To me, your idea seems weird. The attacks you stated above are already having a good effect on the POKEMON that is attacking/ lowering def and atk of the other poke, why add damage?
