Answered Weak attack for Legendaries

What kind of attack of lvl 100 pokemon is weak enough not to faint a legendary pokemon when catching it? like a consistent 60 or 110 attack

I use mega scizor,it has 3 moves each of which do 200 dmg exact

Take a Lvl 70 Bidoof

try something like iron head ,x scissor or bubblebeam,they do enough to bring em to about 50 hp without fainting

i use clefairy, her pound and double slap moves does weak damage. And i finish it with metallic 20-30 level pokemons.

 

edit: if you use bubble beam on fire type or ground type legendary pokemon, u will get a nasty surprise. ı think pound and double slap are normal type moves so they have no advantage on other type pokemons, so they do low damage.
