How do I get meteorite? I completed the sidequest before and now I went to my sidequests, it says "You have completed what is currently released of Sidequests. Please come back when more is added.". Do I need to erase all the badges and re-start from the beginning in order to get the meteorite?

You get the item from completing the Hoenn Sidequest, so if you had already completed it before the event, you'll need to reset your Sidequest.

You need to complete hoenn sidequests again.
