  1. Auke1993's post in I made a bid to buy a pokemon so, it says the end date is at 9:35pm on 29-Jul. i want to know is there any way to cancel the bid was marked as the answer
There is no way to cancel a bid, as having that option could abuse the system in ways not intended.
For example, someone could big really high early on, then last second remove the bid, and the Pokémon wouldn't be sold.
Another example. Let's say two people make a bid. Person A outbidding person B. Person B then uses the money they know they have (as they aren't winning the previously mentioned auction) to buy or bid on something else. If Person A could remove their bid, what happens? Either the auction loses all bids (which is bad for the seller), or it makes Person B's offer valid again. This'd not be fair for person B, as they would lose money they shouldn't have lost. Potentially they won't have that money at that point anymore either. That'd cause problems.

There's likely more examples to come up with. Hopefully these ones give you an idea of why a bid cannot be removed.
  2. Auke1993's post in HOW to change the time zone? was marked as the answer
To my knowledge, once a timezone is chosen within Pokémon Vortex, it cannot be changed.
I also recall being strongly warned to make certain the correct timezone is chosen.
  3. Auke1993's post in I lost my money in lottery was marked as the answer
The Lottery is like a real-life lottery. There is only a very low chance of winning anything. It's a risk investment.
A lottery cycle lasts one week. That reset recently happened, which is why it now shows you have no lottery tickets.
The ones you purchased were for last week's cycle. For this week you don't have any yet.
  4. Auke1993's post in Gigantamax and Dynamax was marked as the answer
We currently don't know when and how they will be implemented.
They are planned to be added, but we currently don't have an exact date to look forward to.
  5. Auke1993's post in About Map was marked as the answer
There is no full map of the region in the game. However, players have made their own maps.
    I use this one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ev0vfL99DmaBI9vrFZ9G37v4qBAgsTEnBkTw2oboCL0/edit#gid=1087887082
It also has tabs that help you find what Pokémon are in each area, although the wiki is useful for that part too.
  6. Auke1993's post in Next Ash greninja evolution was marked as the answer
Greninja could only evolve into Greninja (Ash) during an event we had a few weeks ago.
It is now not possible to evolve Greninja into Greninja (Ash).
To obtain Greninja (Ash), you will have to trade for one, or bid on an auction in Pokébay.
  7. Auke1993's post in How do I move up in the seasonal leaderboard? was marked as the answer
Any won battles increase seasonal EXP. However, the more EXP you earn, the more seasonal points you obtain.
That is why training accounts are very useful.

Another great method is catching Pokémon. Every Pokémon you catch gives you something. However, if you have not yet caught that Pokémon during that month, you get a lot more points. There's also an increase in points for rarer Pokémon.
  8. Auke1993's post in Account/I’d selling was marked as the answer
It is not allowed to sell anything, including your account, for real money.
It's written in the rules of Pokémon Vortex.
  9. Auke1993's post in Hi I have been asking this question to many ppl abt Clan pics ingame was marked as the answer
At this time, it is impossible to add a picture to your clan in Pokémon Vortex.
In the past, there was one way to do this. This was by linking your Vortex account to your Forum account, 'creating' your clan on the Forums, and adding a picture here.
However, that is not possible anymore.
The clan section was, mostly anyway, not used for what it was meant for. Because of this, the clan section has been removed temporarily. It may be back in the future, but I don't know when.
Without that section, it is currently not possible to add a picture to your clan in Pokémon Vortex.
Those that added a picture before the forum section was removed got to keep theirs. New pictures cannot be added right now.
  10. Auke1993's post in How rare are Legendary/UB/Shiny/Rare Pokemon? was marked as the answer
The exact spawn rates of the Pokémon are not known.
We used to have exact numbers when Pokémon Vortex still used the Legacy Maps, which is the previous map system that was in use.
The current map system, the Live Map, doesn't have known spawn rates. So unfortunately I cannot give you an exact answer.
  11. Auke1993's post in Clan Problem was marked as the answer
    Currently you cannot do that.
The clan section of the Forums is currently down.
It was not used for its main purpose, so until it's been reworked it's likely to be down for a while.
  12. Auke1993's post in Events can be repeated? was marked as the answer
    Events normally never come back.
There is a chance, although this is a low chance, that some event Pokémon become available via Mystery Boxes or something like that.
Outside of that you'll have to do trading or use PokéBay to obtain event Pokémon.
  13. Auke1993's post in How do you add this? was marked as the answer
At the moment you cannot put a picture as your clan.
Previously, it was possible through the clan section of the Forums, after linking your Vortex and Vortex Forum accounts.
However, that Forum section was almost solely used for that image, and not for the rest of the things it was meant for.
Due to this, Patrick decided to close the Clan section of the Forums for the time being.
In the future, I think it will re-open, likely with a new look and/or some new features. Once that's happened you can likely upload an image again.

You may ask, then how do some clans have images even now?
Those clans chose that image before the clan section on the Forums was closed. Those clans cannot change their image, but they do get to keep the one they have.
  14. Auke1993's post in Pokemon seasonal top was marked as the answer
1.can someone tell me what exactly you get form being in top 100?
You only get a reward at the END of the season. If you're in the Top 100 then, you get VC, which is an in-game currency introduced in April of this year.
1st place gets 5 VC, 2nd place gets 4 VC, 3rd place gets 3 VC, 4th place gets 2 VC. The rest of the Top 100 get 1 VC.
In the Seasonals tab of the PokéMart, you can spend the VC on various things, such as exclusive Pokémon, avatars and difficult to obtain items.

    2. What’s the fast way to earn money/exp ?
For EXP the fastest way is to use training accounts. This works especially well if your Pokémon are low-level Pokémon with an immunity, especially if they are Level 6. I made a tutorial about this: <https://youtu.be/h9wLkbBDZTA>

If going purely for money, Sidequests can be a good way to go. It takes longer to get money, but in the long run I believe it gives you more money than doing loads of battles. You get over 1 million Poké Dollars per region of Sidequests that you complete. Some early regions are large, but others (the ones based on the side-games of the Pokémon series) are smaller, and give you that big amount of money quicker.

  15. Auke1993's post in Sidequests Obtainables was marked as the answer
To get Alolan forms in the wild (such as Grimer), and to evolve into them (like Raichu) you need to be IN Alola in Sidequests.
To get Galar forms in the wild (such as Darumaka), and to evolve into them (like Weezing) you need to be IN Galar in Sidequests.

If you reset sidequests, or complete sidequests, you are not in either of these regions anymore, and will therefore not be able to encounter nor evolve into these Pokémon.
I should note that if you have an Alolan Grimer and you're not in Alola in Sidequests, you will still be able to evolve into Alolan Muk.
'Standard' Pokémon that gain an Alolan or Galarian Form evolution (such as Pikachu and Koffing) do require you to be in the region to let you evolve into those forms.
  16. Auke1993's post in Fake Blaming was marked as the answer
If they keep spamming you in messages, then perhaps that can be done.
Make sure to provide screenshots as proof of the spam, and also give proof of what they're blaming you for being untrue (would that be the case).
  17. Auke1993's post in How to earn money like really fast. was marked as the answer
If you need money ASAP, then using level 6 immunity Pokémon against training accounts is the fastest way.
Any immunity Pokémon works too, for quick fights but not too much EXP.
If you have some time, then Sidequests can be the best way to earn money. Regions can take some time to complete, but once done you do get over a million Pokédollars at once, including some other rewards that you could sell if you wanted.
  18. Auke1993's post in (Gah, sorry for spam!) Skill Branches was marked as the answer
It's an intended and likely upcoming feature.
At the moment though, the (Type) choice does nothing.
  19. Auke1993's post in False Swipe was marked as the answer
They are helpful, but I usually only save them for Legendaries.
A Level 100 Pokémon using Wrap can slowly damage a wild Pokémon, as others have suggested to me.
Personally, I use a team of varying-leveled Pokémon that help me weaken wild Pokémon. I call it my hunting team. Whenever I go to catch a wild Pokemon I use that team.
  20. Auke1993's post in False Swipe was marked as the answer
I assume you decided on False Swipe because it leaves a wild Pokémon with 1 HP in the main games.
Please note that this side effect does not exist within Pokémon Vortex. False Swipe is a basic damaging move, and nothing more.
Similarly, Fling also just deals damage, always the same amount.
Most side effects, outside of potential status afflictions, are not in Pokémon Vortex.
  21. Auke1993's post in How to obtain Lycanroc (Dusk) Form? was marked as the answer
If you click on any of your Rockruffs' info, and then hover over the sun/dusk/moon symbols in the evolution info, it will tell you during which timeframes you can evolve into the different forms.
  22. Auke1993's post in Pokedex not showing a proper percent was marked as the answer
If there are more than 100 Pokémon in a region or category, which is the case for pretty much all, then a single Pokémon is worth less than 1%.
The percentage shown is likely rounded off, so you'd need to catch a few more Pokémon for the percentage to increase, most likely.
  23. Auke1993's post in How do I get VC was marked as the answer
You only get VC when you're in the Top 100 at the end of the season.
Being in the Top 100 anywhere during the season does not give you any rewards. To earn the VC, you have to be in the Top 100 the moment the Season ends.
You can find your VC in the PokéMart. There's a new section there, where you can see your VC.
  24. Auke1993's post in Help With VC Currency was marked as the answer
I obtained my VC immediately as the season ended.
You can find it in the PokéMart. Your VC should be listed there if you earned any.
  25. Auke1993's post in Pokemon's Hapiness - Fight or suffice to be in the team ? was marked as the answer
A Pokémon has to participate in a battle to gain happiness points.
You gain 1-2 happiness points per battle. A trainer with 6 Pokémon counts as 1 battle, so you'd gain 1-2 happiness points from it.
