@darkxknight101 v4 had been planned basically the day v3 was complete. I never waste any time in thinking how I can better my projects. That said, it was only thinking work at that stage. I took a lot of analytical data and feedback from v3 over it's one year of being open to decide on some of the ideas I had in mind, order them by priority so some things may never make the final build if I feel I'm cutting fine on time. Actual development on v4 began about two weeks before the teaser was released. A very small portion of it was done by then but enough to make a simple video to let everyone know it was being worked on and ideas had been finalised. As for motives, like I said, I'm always thinking about how I can better things, whether it's with revamps of current features or completely new features and with v4 comes a mixture of both. One thing only a select few people know so far is that for v4, I'm rewriting nearly the entire game. Only the maps and battle will remain as they are with minor visual boosts and optimization tweaks. If anything, I'm costing Vortex money by banning the donators and honestly, good riddance. I'd rather no one played it than have all these bots killing the trade economy and leaderboards. You people make me laugh. Accept you got caught and banned and move on.

This is a question and answer forum, not a discussion about current goings-on. Aside from that, you think thousands of legendaries isn't fishy? Doesn't matter how human-like your bot is, that's just ridiculous.

The point of it isn't to prevent botting. It's so people can't complete more than one battle every 10 seconds. Without something like this, someone could open 800 tabs all side by side on 4 monitors (just an example) and complete all the battles within minutes of each other, press reload and do it all again. This is an advantage of hardware which is unfair on others who wouldn't be able to and don't know how to play like this. I also think it's a stupid way to play and would hate to see it take that turn. The 10 second limit will always be there, I know it can be annoying when continuously battling smaller teams and wild Pokemon but it's better to have it there than it would be to not.

Maintenance over. Vortex is now back up and running

Why can't we play while you ban people? Simply because people start to panic when accounts are getting banned, they start offloading Pokemon to other accounts and other people who are oblivious to what's going on in an attempt to hide themselves and point at other people. Why was the maintenance not announced like usual? Basically the same reason as the above question. If I had announced what I'm doing, a lot of people would have given all their Pokemon to others causing twice as much loss. Is everyone from the backlog going to be banned when the maintenance is over? Unfortunately not. This process is taking a LOT longer than I had expected. As I've stated before, the ban process is not something I take lightly and I completely look into the case before banning anyone so that I am 100% sure they deserved a ban. That said, 980 accounts have been banned so far and a further 2,386 Pokemon have had their experience reset. I've made a huge dent in what was some of the more frequent individuals but I can't get everyone done in the time you would all like as well as what I would like. I will be putting the game back up within a couple of hours with the current state of bans and will schedule to continue it in the week with another maintenance break. How many accounts are left to ban? Roughly 1,000 accounts are left to ban and 6,000 Pokemon left to have their experience reset.

This is the plan eventually. It's something that is being brought into v4 because it means the ban system needs changing every every Pokemon needs recounting to not include those off banned accounts. Lmao. Savage.

1) Probably. It depends if they were feeding botted experience to that account. Just because an account wasn't botted on initially, moving all your botted experience to it also puts it in the light to be banned. (Some of the current top trainers use this method for a "main" account to stop it from being banned) It will not work and it will be banned if that's how it was being handled. 2) That was pretty much the same question as #1 3) That also sounds similar to #1 with a slight twist. But if people are sharing an account, some botters and some legit, you all take responsibility for this shared account. I don't care if they "didn't know" that's just their story and I will never know the truth. If someone has a legit side account of their own, I can tell the difference and it will not be banned. On top of this, I just want to point out that it's things like this that make sharing accounts a very bad idea. I do not advise it at all and will not help you if you lose the account because one of the other members of that team account took it all for themselves. Be responsible with your account and keep it safe.

As @Red_Conspiracy said. You just need to do one battle against anyone with any of your Pokemon and win. OR you can simply catch a Pokémon. Either of these will put your points back to where they should be.
