After it said you caught it, did you press the 'continue' button? Only once you've done that is the result of a battle, such as the capture of a Pokémon, saved to your account.

This is a great example why trust trades are not recommended to ever be done. Especially the fact they said their 'friend' will bid on your auction adds suspicion to this transaction.

That is not a glitch. Often Pokémon are programmed into the game (and its Pokédex) before their release for players. This also happened to Gigantamax. The Season Battle takes random Pokémon to put as your opponents. This means that Gigantamax Pokémon can also be selected. I believe that Season Battle is the only place at the moment where you can battle against Gigantamax Pokémon.

Gigantamaxing has not been made available yet in Pokemon Vortex. This feature is likely to be added in the future, but we do not know when.

Is the auction complete, or did you just place the highest bid? Even if you place the highest bid, you still have to wait for the auction timer to run out before the Pokémon are given.

The moment you see the message that it has been added, it's already added. It doesn't change after that. You'd have to compare your money from before you log-in to after you log-in to get a proper check, but it should still work fine.

What Vivillon pattern you can evolve into depends on your account. When you make an account, one random Vivillon pattern is linked to your account. You will only be able to evolve into that pattern on your account. To get the other patterns, you have to trade with other people, or have other people evolve your Spewpa.

Could you please elaborate on 'short stack method'? I've never heatrd of this, and would like to know what it means. You seem to know what it means, and how it affects Vortex gameplay.

The best way is to be in the Vortex Discord and pay attention to the #free-promos channel. Sometimes promo codes are posted there. That's the only way. It also only happens because of people's generosity. No-one has to do it, and no-one has to post anything valuable either.

The other user offered a trust trade. Although this does regularly end up as a scam, the offer for a trust trade alone is not a scam. Nothing illegal has happened. It is good that you are careful. If you don't already know the other person well, I recommend to never participate in trust trades.

This is a trust trade, which is strongly advised to never participate in. If your story is as you say, I believe it is unlikely you can get your money back. However, if the evidence provided is good enough, punishment can be dealt to the other user.

The total EXP is affected not just by what you've caught and trained, but also Pokémon you have obtained from other people. This can be through PokéBay or via trading.

I'm quite certain you need to have a Shiny for both to be able to fuse into a Shiny, and a regular for both to evolve into a regular.
