    So If a person traded you a pokemon a long time ago that was probably botted and then they were banned, what will happen to that pokemon If you have it?

      Just for general knowledge...

       

      If you receive a Pokemon that end up being botted, you will NOT be banned. The Pokemon will be reset.

      If you botted on it, you will obviously get banned

      Bottom line: Play clean and all is good
