  1. Well… why are you even trading like this? He had it right the first time, he lists the Meltan and you bid on it, there’s no need for this “bid on a pokeball and offer the Pokémon in trade” nonsense. we do not support these kind of trades as they require a level of trust.

  3. No, they'd likely unlock permanently once past that point. Of course, I couldn't say for certain as nothing has been decided yet but it would never work in a way that would make it possible to "lock yourself out" of certain content.
  4. Unfortunately it's not that simple to just have a "Next Opponent" option like in sidequests. Sidequests have pre-determined opponents. The battle tower, much like clan battles, work in a way that your opponent is not determined until you go "back to base", so-to-speak (in this case, the battle tower screen). There is no next opponent until you've been back to the tower for one to be generated.

In response to the feeling rewarded part, I agree with you and the Battle Tower was originally intended as an updated replacement to Sidequests in which each battle has a chance to drop the rewards usually found in Sidequests. As time went on, Sidequests became much longer than I'd expected and it's very tedious to update with each generation so I was hoping to phase it out in some way which is where the Battle Tower idea came from. As you'd see from the Battle Tower FAQ: If this original plan were to go ahead then it would not completely replace Sidequests but it's likely that Sidequests would become a "single-run" kind of thing, so you'd only ever be able to do it once and no longer reset progress. The rewards usually obtained through Sidequests would come from the Battle Tower, with each singular battle having the chance to drop rewards, as previously stated. In regards to your other concerns; unfortunately, like yourself, we cannot predict the future so it's a situation of release what we hope will work, if it doesn't then we'll see why and then take it from there. It's best not to just see it as a "final solution", but rather a step in a progressive direction. This season will be closely monitored to see how people play it, what works, what doesn't and then if adjustments need to be made, they will be made. Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated.

  10. Changes to Seasons Starting July 2022 & Scheduled Maintenance Starting July 2022, the way you earn battle wins and experience for season rankings will be changing. First, it should be explained why, as that will be the most common question. In the beginning, seasons were fun and competitive to take part in, as all new things are. Over the last 3 years, multiple balance changes have been made to seasons to try and keep them fun and fair. Unfortunately, the biggest downfall of seasons is the monotonous grind of experience which the meta is "immune training" - This is not how season play was envisioned when it was created, but of course, people are just using the tools at their disposal. SO, to remove this long grind that mentally drains people on a monthly basis, we've created the Season Battle Tower. This new game feature will randomly generate battles for trainers from all Pokémon that exist in the Pokédex, along with randomly generating attacks for those Pokémon from their move-pool. These new battles will now be the only way to earn experience and battle wins towards your seasonal rank. We hope to see more people taking part in seasons with this change and more importantly, having fun while doing so. If you have any feedback on this new feature, we'd love to hear it. To implement this change, Pokémon Vortex will be going down for maintenance on June 30th at 23:59 BST for approximately one hour. You can follow the maintenance on our service status page.
  11. You did not get banned for "pressing F12" on any account. You've been banned multiple times now because you continue to automate gameplay which is against the website's Terms of Service you agreed to when you created your account.

  13. You’re clicking the Pokemon’s name. It opens up their Pokedex entry.
  14. When you fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala, only the Necrozma's stats are carried over, as stated when doing the fusion: Anything on the Solgaleo/Lunala (Experience, level, OT, Happiness etc.) is lost.
  15. You're not allowed to ask for "entry fees" to contests/giveaways. This includes, but is not limited to "Bid on 'x' to enter".

  18. No attack can aid in catching, other than lowering a Pokémon's HP which will make them more likely to stay in the ball when thrown. There are (currently) no status effects implemented into wild battles.

  20. PokéBay is the only way to get them from other players. They're two of three items that are exclusive to Mystery Boxes (The third being Froslassite)

  22. Sorry but you're not allowed to ask for any kind of entry fee to contests/giveaways (i.e. bidding on an auction, trading a Pokémon) All contests and giveaways must be run in a way that makes the entrants/participants not give anything away.
