  1. It'll be back up in a couple of hours
  2. This is the plan eventually. It's something that is being brought into v4 because it means the ban system needs changing every every Pokemon needs recounting to not include those off banned accounts. Lmao. Savage.
  3. 1) Probably. It depends if they were feeding botted experience to that account. Just because an account wasn't botted on initially, moving all your botted experience to it also puts it in the light to be banned. (Some of the current top trainers use this method for a "main" account to stop it from being banned) It will not work and it will be banned if that's how it was being handled. 2) That was pretty much the same question as #1 3) That also sounds similar to #1 with a slight twist. But if people are sharing an account, some botters and some legit, you all take responsibility for this shared account. I don't care if they "didn't know" that's just their story and I will never know the truth. If someone has a legit side account of their own, I can tell the difference and it will not be banned. On top of this, I just want to point out that it's things like this that make sharing accounts a very bad idea. I do not advise it at all and will not help you if you lose the account because one of the other members of that team account took it all for themselves. Be responsible with your account and keep it safe.
  4. As @Red_Conspiracy said. You just need to do one battle against anyone with any of your Pokemon and win. OR you can simply catch a Pokémon. Either of these will put your points back to where they should be.
  5. Are you Red_Thunder? I'm just curious.

@Uncle_Psychic your scaring me. I'm pretty sure that I won't get banned cause that's what @Patrick said. Anyways, since I did not bot nor scam, I shouldn't be scared.

  6. Unfortunately you lose both. I don't have a huge team of help here so tracing and reversing trades is beyond my capability. Honestly, I just wouldn't trade for experience. While some do train it because they don't mind the grind, they won't trade it so easily because it takes a LONG time to do. If you apply a bit of logic to a trade, you can see who's on the losing end of it. Lets say, for example, someone wants to give you a 100,000,000 experience Lugia for your Shadow Arceus (Fairy), yes the donation Pokemon are valued pretty high because not everyone can donate to get one but would you sit there for the time it takes to get 100,000,000 experience just to trade it away? That would take roughly 100 hours by the way, if you weren't aware. It's a debatable topic to assume someone wouldn't train that just to trade it off but 9/10 times you'll find they did not gain the experience fairly.
  7. Yes, Trainer B will be banned for automating experience or glitching Pokémon. Whichever would be at play here then Trainer A would have what was traded reset to 50,000 experience providing it was experience that was traded. This is only a temporary thing. I'm currently working on changing the way automated flags work in which when an account is flagged by the system for me to later check, they will not be able to trade until the flag is removed by me or the account is banned. This slightly protects people such as yourself when trading with people who refuse to follow the rules.
  8. Nothing, don't worry about it. I can see how many times you battle someone and it's pretty clear when someone battles that same account 380 times in a row that they intended to do it. However, I don't really see how you can just "stumble" upon an account like that anyway, you'd have to know it's username.
  9. Pokemon Vortex June 2016 Maintenance You're probably wondering why the game is currently down and has been for quite a few hours now. Well, fear not, it is for a good cause. Earlier today a problem that had existed here on the forums last week caused a larger problem within the game which has since been resolved but I decided to take this time while the game is down to do some preparation work for v4, that being enforcing our fair play policy in which no automated playing is allowed, nor bug/glitch abuse. While these were always rules within v3 and any version to follow after, they have not been strictly followed by many members. But that does not mean we were not aware of it. Every account is closely monitored by an automatic system that will watch you battle, catch, trade and evolve Pokémon and flag your account if it detects any wrong doing. These flags are then later reviewed by myself to determine whether the flag was just and issue a ban. Over time, the log filled up without any justice to the people who were wrongly "playing" but the intention was always there to later come back to these and clean it up for a better playing experience for you all. What does this mean? At the moment, I am working through a huge backlog of accounts to ban and Pokémon's experience to reset which breach these rules. All accounts that were automating experience on their Pokémon will be banned. All Pokémon that were traded (unknowingly) to others after having automated experience put on them will be reset to 50,000 (Level 100) All Pokémon that were glitched in any sense to filter attacks, types or origin will be returned to their original state. Every account in the game will have it's points and experience set to 0 (Just complete a battle to update the points back to it's original state) I got banned but I didn't break any rules The ban process is not automatic and users are vetted completely before anyone is banned so the likelihood of you being wrongly banned are beyond small. I hear it all the time "I didn't do anything". Honestly, don't waste your time trying it, I've been watching your account since it was made. Do bans get lifted after a certain amount of time? Absolutely not. Familiarise yourself with the rules and don't break them then you wouldn't have been banned to begin with. What is the fair play policy? Our fair play policy is an aim to make everyone play the same without certain people having advantages that others don't such as third party apps playing for you (botting) or trying to glitch the game in a way that is beneficial to the way you play. For example, some of you may be aware of accounts that have "glitched" Pokemon on the team and they have no attacks so you will use them to battle against without these Pokémon being able to deal damage. This is not allowed in any way. You are not allowed to create these accounts, Pokemon or battle against them. Fixes for these are being worked on and will be applied within v4. While currently the glitched Pokemon accounts will go unpunished - From the end of the maintenance, anyone caught creating or battling against these accounts WILL be banned without question. If you have any questions about fair play, don't hesitate to ask on our questions forums. Most people here are up to speed and understand it already. When will the maintenance be done? I'm working as fast as I can to clear it all up but I expect it to run into approximately 48 hours or so. Don't forget, when the maintenance is complete, you will need to do a battle to update your points and experience back to it's original and rightful state.
  10. Add a smiley face to the end of the post for me.
  11. The edit worked fine when I tried it on your trade topic.
  12. Daaaaaamn, Becky. Back at it again reviving dead topics. I got a Mystic
  13. Please do not create trade topics for just one Pokemon. If you only have one Pokemon to trade then use the community trade thread found here:
  14. Please try and post in the correct section. Topic moved to suggestions forum.
  15. It likely just had damaged data which was something caused by the transfer of genders that I did near the beginning of v3. If this is the case, when you open it's information to view it in the Pokédex tab, it will correct itself but the person who corrects it will become the OT as there is no way to know who it originally was after the data had been damaged. There is nothing wrong with the Aerodactyl, don't worry about it.
  16. It's a known issue. It will be resolved the day the event ends. It's easier to fix them all at once rather than having to keep doing it. Don't worry about it for now.
  17. Quite a few of the Mewtwo donations were never re-claimed after the rollback. I'll look into this one for you and get back to you. But I'd just like to point out it will never be "too late" If you did in fact donate then you will get the Mewtwo(s) or your money back. There is no sense in me keeping either of them from you. Even three years later I will still have records of the donations that were lost and the donators will receive their Mewtwo's. Where would you like me to reply to you? In game or here on the forums? Preferably through private messaging.
  18. The guides are currently being reworked and migrated to the Wiki (http://www.pokemonmountain.com/) So don't expect the guides here on the forums to be kept up to date or take any further shape. This is the specific page you're looking for: http://www.pokemonmountain.com/wiki/Sidequests The prizes and rates of each have not yet been added to it though. The wiki is a community project so feel free to contribute to it yourself, we welcome new editors all the time.
  19. Rotom (Halloween) was given out to people who defeated a trainer in the Event Center called Creeper which lasted a week starting October 31st 2015. Beat it once for a Normal Rotom (Halloween) and beat the rematch with more powerful Pokémon to get a random special type.
  20. As said, for now there is no way without re-purchasing moves to move them around which can become quite costly especially with powerful moves like Explosion. Attack re-ordering is something I have planned for v4 but not yet done. It's on the list so for now while it's not available, there's some peace of mind to know it's on the way.

    Sprites

When they're released. Pokémon Sun and Moon aren't even out yet and we've only seen a very small amount of Pokémon from it. The two games release in November 2016 so it will be some time around then when they're added to Vortex.
  22. Noooo, no no no. Sorry, I appreciate the time and research you may have put into this but we don't need "rates" especially not as a guide. People do not have to stick to a certain trade value on anything because it is not the same for every user. Let me explain a few things; The main problem is that one specific Pokemon can have a high value to yourself because you actually like the Pokémon. Whereas to someone else it could just be something to finish off a small or large collection. The collection base also has various values because if it is a last Pokémon someone needs for a collection, for example, then they will obviously be willing to give a lot more than the average user would just so they can finish it up. In whole, Pokémon are as valuable as you make them, no one has to stick to any specific rate and if you want 10,000,000 experience for your Dark Lugia because it took you 3 weeks to find, by all means ask for it. If you want just a legendary for legendary trade for your Dark Lugia because you don't even like it - The same applies. I hope this clears up the problem I have with people trying to apply fixed rates on trades. It's nothing personal and again, thank you for wanting to contribute to our guide section, this just isn't the kind of thing I'd be looking to keep in it.
