    I have started making Beginner Tutorials for Pokémon Vortex.
    These are shorter tutorial videos, explaining some of the things that beginning players are likely to want to know.
    First: The different Pokémon variants and what they do.

    What did you wish you knew when you started out? What is something you think is useful for a new player to know when they've just started?

      Is it public knowledge what the catch chance multiplier is on the different Balls?
      I know some have a 100% chance (in specific scenarios), but the rest. How much better is a Dusk Ball than a Poké Ball when it meets its conditions. How much better is a Great Ball?

    It is useful that you wish to help, but this map was already on the Forums. It was posted quite early on in the new map system's time by another user. You don't seem to have given them credit for it.

    I like that idea. When I do immunity training, the attack option moving around is something that is somewhat annoying. It's not a major inconvenience, but it is there.

    To put a promo code up for auction, the code has to be 'packed'. This means the code cannot be used anymore. Would the code be 'unpacked', a new code will be generated for the same item/Pokémon, making it useful again. That way the problem you spoke about can be avoided.

    Outside of the Mega Stones for the starters, you need luck to be able to obtain them as Sidequest rewards. The only other way is to purchase them from Pokébay. The money you get from completing Sidequest can help you towards that.

    Pokémon Vortex has had a big update to how points are earned for the Seasonal Rankings, partially by introducing the Season Battle Tower.

    This is what I know about it now.

    I like the idea of adding prizes to the Battle Tower. Perhaps every battle, or every 7 battles like in the original Battle Towers, you get Battle Points. You'd be able to spend these on various items. This could be the way that the Sidequest rewards are moved over to the Battle Tower. As for the money, I think it'd be nice to have some money rewards added to the Battle Tower. The Sidequests money rewards take quite a long time to get to, but in the long run they're one of the best ways to get large amounts of money in the game. Adding some money reward(s) to the Battle Tower would probably be a good idea.

    I intended to record two videos about the new event, but have found no time today to do any recordings.
    I will instead have the videos ready for Sunday and Tuesday.

    I could see myself regularly doing the new Battle Tower.
    That plus the occasional hunt for Pokémon where I get some points from could set me up really well for the Season.

    I can see how this could have uses, but I think that it's quite limited. Some players may use it, and most that do would not use it often. That's what I think anyway, so I don't think this feature is worth the programming time.

    I don't see this as an issue. It's a timed auction, not 'hope they accept your bid'. You cannot go lower than what the current top bid is, especially when you try to go for 0. I assume that the 'Place Bid' button is programmed to make you bid the recommended amount if you haven't typed anything larger.

    I will be making a video on the new Vortex update. It will be Friday's video, as tomorrow is Pokémon Battle Revolution day for my channel.

    I agree that it is too hard to get the bonuses of the Top 4. I would like to see the Top 10 get a bit more. This will make more people try, making that harder too, but I don't think it'll be harder than getting Top 4 now.

    Did you check your Promo Codes in your inventory? If it did go through, the code for the boxes should be there.

    I don't know for each individual move if the side effect exists. So until you or I see that Sludge Bomb inflicts Poison, I can only say 'maybe'.

    Added chances to inflict status do exist. However, whether they exist on every move that has an added chance, and if that chance is the same as the main games, I don't know.

    My top 4 is Attack on Titan, Madoka Magica/Black Clover and Shaman King, in that order. Pokémon I really love as well, but that's in its own category with how special and important that is to me.

    Status moves aren't meant to do anything, in a sense anyway. Almost all current Pokémon will only learn damaging moves where possible.
