  1. ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO USES THE FORUMS!

Lately it has come to the attention that the forums is becoming a not so great place to visit. The two links I have just posted, please read all of them whether you are old or new here. Now, coming back to the attention. The forums, as seen, is starting to become not a very nice place to visit, to the point where even Patrick is not wanting to look at it. Let it be know I refuse to have this place go into the pits. So, if sometimes the mods will have to be not so nice, so @Patrick, @Tyheamma, @Uncle_Psychic, and myself will start issuing out warning more often if needed. Something you need to watch out for example: Flaming. Flaming is where you are harassing someone for whatever reason. If you have nothing nice to say, move on, don't continue it. If someone is breaking the rules, please report it and giving a description will help. Breaking the rules will land you a warning depending on how bad it is. Some mods like myself give warning that expire after a while, like two months.

One last thing I would like to mention. Patrick and events. Patrick is making events that are fun for everyone, not just some. People need to realize there will be EASY and HARD events. If an event is too hard for you or you don't like it. Don't do it. There is a difference between giving an advice vs just plain out insulting an event. Events take time to do, both for Patrick and the users. So, let it be known that if I feel a user is going to the point where it becomes flaming Patrick for doing an event, you will be given a warning. Period.

Let's please try to make this an enjoyable community, if we have to remove the toxic people from here to do it, so be it.

Thank you for reading and enjoy playing Pokemon Vortex.

I honestly doubt that someone can manage a 4k daily (roughly, could be more or could be less) website daily on their free time. But i believe your word for it,but sadly that does not change the fact that he is getting paid. And he should be getting paid,he is doing an amazing job with this game, and he %100 deserves it no doubt. And i was with you on the flaming, sadly you did not read my post correctly as well. Also with the whole trading thing, yeah i traded and i lost it. Because the person i traded with used some kind of cheating program i suppose im not sure,so all the things i gave away are gone. Why? Because the event was pretty hard ( Its a fact, not an opinion. That doesnt mean the event was bad or anything) So you can kinda understand the frustration on people. For example lets say you tried for 3 days, and you get a Mystic Rotom (Pokedex)amazing right, yet you wanted a shiny one. Lo and behold a guy is trading his shiny for a mystic one,and you do the trade happily. Then next morning you check into your account and your shiny vortex is gone, cause the guy was a cheater? Now you are frustrated, you spend 3 days for nothing. You come into the forums and you say ''i did not like this event/This event was a way to find botters/ I hate this event / I may take a break '' or something. Now suddenly 14 people replies that an event is still good,Patrick is doing an amazing job (Which he does) But that is not the point. You have to be just, and take constructive critism. And i really don't like the whole mods won't be so ''nice'' anymore act. If someone is behaving wrong, flaming or harrassing other people, just do what needs to be done. There are basically like 50 people active on most times, shouldn't be that hard. But making Threat posts are just not professional.

Patrick does do it in his free time. But he can also access things when he's at work since he is the boss at his job pretty much. And yes I read your post correctly, I forgot to add that flaming Patrick AND just others in general is becoming out of hand. I've had to delete so many post today alone and recently because they are purely harassment. And yes, I know some people can get frustrated. One thing I will say to big traders. Wait until v4. There will be a very helpful way for traders and helping to deal with that stuff. That's why I've currently quit trading for know.

And like I said, something like "I didn't like this event." is fine. but saying something like "Patrick, your stupid. Make a good event." that just no is not needed. And when I said mods not being nice anymore was not refereed to the event. I meant the whole "User A is stupid and should go drink bleach." That right there is what I mean. And a lot of them believe they can get away with it since they are regulars. Personally if someone does something minor I correct it and move on. And don't take this as a threat post. I just want people to realize there are humans behind the screens, they have feelings, and none of this is REQUIRED to do.
