That depend on the eggs... 30 min egg usually give level 5 normal pokes or sometimes unique ones 1hr eggs usually give unique pokes or sometimes a legendary 12hr eggs usually give unique legendaries or even a simple one or even an event 24 hr eggs will give an event unique or normal This is usually the case. Exceptions however may occur

No,nows eggs can be obtained by daily login rewards and releasing the pokemons you already have or will catch in future. You can however get eggs from releasing pokes till 31st december only

The time denotes the period which the egg will take to hatch. You can start hatching from 5th December. The longer time it takes to hatch, the better is the Pokemon contained in it.

Well the process of hatching will begin on 5th December. Untill then you simply can't do a thing. It will end on 7th of January.
