  1. ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO USES THE FORUMS!

Lately it has come to the attention that the forums is becoming a not so great place to visit. The two links I have just posted, please read all of them whether you are old or new here. Now, coming back to the attention. The forums, as seen, is starting to become not a very nice place to visit, to the point where even Patrick is not wanting to look at it. Let it be know I refuse to have this place go into the pits. So, if sometimes the mods will have to be not so nice, so @Patrick, @Tyheamma, @Uncle_Psychic, and myself will start issuing out warning more often if needed. Something you need to watch out for example: Flaming. Flaming is where you are harassing someone for whatever reason. If you have nothing nice to say, move on, don't continue it. If someone is breaking the rules, please report it and giving a description will help. Breaking the rules will land you a warning depending on how bad it is. Some mods like myself give warning that expire after a while, like two months.

One last thing I would like to mention. Patrick and events. Patrick is making events that are fun for everyone, not just some. People need to realize there will be EASY and HARD events. If an event is too hard for you or you don't like it. Don't do it. There is a difference between giving an advice vs just plain out insulting an event. Events take time to do, both for Patrick and the users. So, let it be known that if I feel a user is going to the point where it becomes flaming Patrick for doing an event, you will be given a warning. Period.

Let's please try to make this an enjoyable community, if we have to remove the toxic people from here to do it, so be it.

Thank you for reading and enjoy playing Pokemon Vortex.

People who say an event is bad clearly doesn't realize the amount of hard work Patrick has to do for making each event. It's really mean to say someone's work is bad. The only reason the game is here is because Patrick never stopped working hard. I totally agree to what Sportsandmusic69 has said above.

So,i'd like to add my opinion to this. You do realize this is Patrick's job right? And everyone who is playing this game essentially a customer. You can say that's a free game, but there are ad revenues, which makes it the money. Now i'm not too familiar with the whole copyrigh thing,i know pokemoncrater had some problems with Nintendo, but considering vortex is up for so long is good. Now of course you can say that mods will be ''harsher'' but i don't think that's a professional way to look at things. I agree about flaming %100,but you can't please everyone, and if you make an event THAT hard,as in you search for 3 days but only get 2 pokedexes, some people may not like it. And thats entirely their opinion, but if you try to ''silence'' them by giving them warnings  thats not going to make this any better. Also, you may argue that Patrick doesnt have to make events but if you paid attention there were around 10k people on the weekend. There are only 5k right now,so every event Patrick makes, every twitter or facebook post about that will attract peoples attention, and hence more ad revenue. Yeah an event is hard work, but Patrick is not doing it for the ''good of the people or rainbows and butterflies'',thats a business and you are a customer. And you are welcome to express your own opinion, regarding some certain respect levels. And no one can change that

Actually it isn't his "job". He does this in free time. It is not a business so he is not required to do anything. Anyone can make a website and just have people surf around on it for ad rev. And Pokemon Crater didn't have problems with Nintendo. Pokemon Crater was shut down due to the owner going away for college and couldn't maintain it. I know because I personally asked him when I played. Also. By saying you cannot make an event hard is silly, we could then say that making easy events where you doing just like, what? Less than 20 clicks and your done is silly. Some events will be easy, some will be hard. And if you read my message correctly, there's a difference between opinion and down right insulting. Saying something like "I didn't enjoy this event, maybe we have another event like "Insert event"." is an opinion and isn't minded. Saying something like "This event was stupid, stop doing this stupid thing!" is downright insulting. Especially when it's not REQUIRED for you to do. You have the ability to trade for events. Also, I hate to break it to you, but not all those users are people playing. A lot of time the site will generally have about 1500-3500 users playing. Most who don't chat, a lot of the other "Online users" are Guest, or better yet, Crawler Bots. Which Crawler bots are searching to make sure ads are being place correctly. They stay logged in for a while then log out and repeat it at set times. And I'll say this one more time, there's a difference between opinion and flat out being rude and nasty.
